My child was devoured by bedbugs on our first night at the hotel and the hotel showed very little care for the situation, insinuating it was our fault for bringing them with us which was not the case. The service in general was cold, slow and also uninformed about the area. When asked about market days, the receptionist didn’t know. The breakfast cost 30€ per person for mediocre, flavorless eggs and a very average spread that any basic hotel offers. There was no menu to choose from and the value for money was definitely not there. In addition, the coffee was subpar capsule coffee which should not be the case at a relais chateaux. Overall an incredibly disappointing stay that completely soured our final night of the trip.

The building is so nice. Staff friendly but some drawbacks. No room dining service after hours, towel rack warmer was not working, also found someone’s leftover behind the rack.

Grounds are beautiful but a lot of issues with service: 1. Be prepared to take own bags to room. We were offered help but from a petite lady and my husband didn’t feel comfortable. 2. There were a lot of misunderstandings about a restaurant booking. We weren’t told there were two restaurants and we didn’t get to try the michelin star resto. We asked to be put on a waitlist and they did email us with a cancellation but when we called to ask they said the email was WRONG. They did not explain this at all and it caused a lot of frustration. 3. Breakfast for 28 euros was not worth it - purely continental and lack of service. You can boil your own eggs...

An incredible hotel. The whole place was amazing from start to finish. The attention to detail for everything was absolutely spot on. I (unfortunately) have to spend a lot of time working away from home and staying in hotels. Therefore, when I stay in a hotel for pleasure, I notice everything that is 'missing' or 'could be better'. The hotel and staff, exceeded every expectation I had, and I found nothing could be bettered. From the bedding to the towels to toiletries to the shower, everything was about the guests comfort. I will certainly return to enjoy a longer stay in the future.

This refurbished hotel mansion met all our expectations in term of room size, overall quality and service. The balcony of the room is nice. Good for those staying in the area in a place with morden design and facilities such as elevators (as compared with hotels converted from chateau). The location of this hotel is however a bit hard to find if you rely on goggle map or car gps. Need to follow the road signs.

The Domaine is a special place. It is physically comfortable & decorates beautifully. The grounds are superb. Both restaurants are very good. Staff are helpful & charming. I can not recommend it highly enough.

Great staff and location! Room was very large and clean, both restaurants are amazing. There isn't much around the immediate area but since we had a car or wasn't a big issue.

We were able to rent electric bikes from the hotel which I thoroughly recommend: it enabled us to enjoy the fantastic countryside and villages around the hotel.

We had a beautiful vacation in Luberon! One of the highlights was our stay at Fontenille! The rooms and grounds were lovely and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. This was a splurge type of stay for us, but it was totally worth it. We felt totally spoiled and we loved it.

The hotel is stunning in almost all respects. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and we could have lived comfortably in Suite Alphonse. Staff are young and delightful. It makes a great base to explore The Luberon. Our only misgivings are around the two dining rooms. Breakfast is great, but dinner was pretty inconsistent, even in the Michelin starred restaurant. For our tastes, the chef would do well to be less adventurous in combinations, and focus on quality of ingredients and taste.

Much better in person than online pictures show. Spotless. Seems brand new but with an old-world elegance. Unique contemporary art through-out. Tasteful to the max. Attentive service. Comfy bed. Big nice bathroom. Peaceful. Zen. Loved it.

The rooms were extremely well designed and the decor was stylish and in keeping with the heritage. The setting is slightly remote but all the more beautiful for it. It is only 10 minutes in the car to some lovely provencal villages. It's setting also makes it a peaceful retreat from which you can relax and enjoy their Michelin starred restaurant and their own wine. Their own vineyard is just across the road and they are happy let you have a tasting. The only downside is that food is not available at certain times in the day and considering that it is notnear any shops / cafes I think that this is an oversight....particularly if you are out sightseeing during their service hours. Although you'll not go hungry!
