If you want to experience luxury, hospitality, warmth, and a touch of Europe in Asia, look no further than Kent Cottage in the beautiful Little England of Nuwara Eliya. Little England is stunning in itself, but Kent Cottage is truly the cherry on top. Located just 15 minutes away from Lake Gregory and the main town, this property is nothing short of a dream. We stayed in the Loft Suite, and though it was priced at 60,000 LKR, it was worth every single penny. The loft suite was enormous, like a penthouse mansion, and equipped with every luxury amenity you could ask for. The highlight of our stay was the fully functional hot jacuzzi with breathtaking views, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serene surroundings. The room had elegant touches, including large decorative candles, which enhanced the ambiance and added a cozy, aesthetic vibe to the space. The views from the room and the beautifully maintained roads within the township were nothing short of magical. Now, let’s talk about the hospitality—and it was second to none. Nalaka and his crew went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. To celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, they surprised us with a beautiful cake, a gesture that made us feel truly special. The food was another highlight. We had the chance to enjoy both authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and a classic English breakfast, and both were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the quality was impeccable. Traveling with our 14-month-old child, we found the cottage to be incredibly family-friendly. Every detail of our stay was tailored to make us feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. For anyone looking to experience luxury and elegance in Little England, Kent Cottage is an absolute must. You won’t be disappointed! A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone at Kent Cottage for being a part of our journey and making our stay so special. This will remain one of our most cherished memories!

We stayed at the kings suite with the jacuzzi. At first everything seemed nice and wonderful and the host at the location mentioned that the heater works fine and sometimes it could get too hot. At night we had a terrible experience with the heater as it was super cold and nothing was heating. When we informed this to the relevant personnel, they told us that the heater is like that. What is the point of having to pay for a suite and not even having a proper working heating system in the room(basic needs). Next comes the best part, spoke to the housekeeper and got a small heater. We kept the heater plugged in for around 30 minutes maximum and then switched it off as the plug kept giving a burning smell. To see that the heater plug had burnt off. When we brought all these to attention the housekeeper took no responsibility to even acknowledge on the faulty equipment they provided (which could have caused real harm to us if we didn’t notice and remove it), and also kept saying their floor heating don’t work. We complained to the relevant people and until today(it’s been 3 weeks), we haven’t received a single call from the people incharge.

We have  a horrible experience when arranging the reservations for one our clients in Kent Cottage. The property was specially requested by the client and she wanted to stay in there for two nights. Initially we the arranged reservation for two doubles. We arranged the reservations for loft suite.  But there was confusion when offering the room and they have arranged only one room. On the client arrival day, the client complained to us about the room status and the hotel does not categorise as a 4 star hotel at all. Also their suite room is not up to the standard level. We tried to clear the situation with their management, no one picked up the phone until a long time. As the tour consultant of my client, me and our customer care team tried to so many times to reach with them to sort the issue. But the lady called Varsha and a man from their reservation department misled us saying they had already sent an email describing the room status to confirm the booking. We double-checked everything regarding that. But did not find any previous record. The shame was they kept telling lies even though they did not have any proof to show. We paid a big amount as their room rate since it was for two nights. The property was not valuable for the paid money at all. Because of that,my client left the place after spending one night there. Finally I have to say that it was a disaster when dealing with them. I do not recommend anyone for their future stay

I booked this place for my parents for a one day stay. It has been a pleasant stay . They have good customer oriented service and was flexible for our needs. The rooms are luxurious and was served with a good breakfast. Recommended!

The combination of outstanding customer service, luxurious accommodations, delectable dining options, and a prime location make it a standout choice.
