Last minute booking, very good value, very late check in (11.30pm) Night porter expecting us, helped with bags, room lovely and warm. Bed amazingly comfortable, and bathroom so clean you could eat dinner in there. (Joking) Breakfast included in price, staff very helpful. Full scottish breakfast, and changes to it no problem. This is a hotel we have stayed at previously and would stay again and again. The restaurant is also fantastic We are here now sheltering from storm Eowyn. The staff are very attentive, but right now, there are no guests in any public areas, and the staff are patrolling the hotel and grounds looking for storm damage. They have staff ready to make repairs where necessary. Personally i think this is amazing

Great hotel and great say however customer service could do with being reviewed to prevent me being stalked for a dinner bill that I was told had been paid 3 times

Lovely hotel and staff, really friendly. Beautiful building. As its older, the soundproofing isnt the best between rooms. Otherwise no issue at all, would definitely go back there

Lovely hotel, good food and service,Trying not to be biased as they upgraded my room to a suite and it was amazing. had an evening meal and drinks , all good. Nice breakfast [a little small] but good. Would definitely stay again, upgrade or not.

had a few issues with the room , key card not working /tv not working ...rather than mess me around getting things fixed they switched me to another room whilst they sorted. simple easy effective

Great stay

Upscale property more like a large house converted to a hotel, no amenities and facilities not worth the price. Stay was lackluster due to no lift or elevator to the upper floors had to carry all the baggage’s though the stairs, broke my back almost, no fridge in the room no shower handle in bathroom, no shower curtain, after a shower the bathroom felt like a swimming pool as the water from the narrow bathtub without proper shower curtain fell all over the bathroom floor. Room key is hit and miss had to change couple of times and still didn’t work out. No AC , no fan in the hot weather, over all a disappointment

Gorgeous hotel

Very nice hotel in a good location. Easy to park and rooms very good. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was also good. Visit completely spoiled as the bath plug was broken and the reception on the television was so bad that it was unwatchable. I complained to the receptionist who said someone would look at the problems when I was out. When I returned to my room a few hours later there was no difference so I don't know if anyone even looked at the issues. On departure I complained to the receptionist and requested that a manager called me, but six hours later I am still waiting for a call. The room is advertised with a bath and a television, and that's what I paid for but unfortunately I wasn't able to use either - Simply not good enough!

The entire staff was exceptional. All very friendly, and helpful. Staff go out of their way to get things done. Going back next trip to Glasgow.

The Hotel is set in a quiet area within Barrhead in lovely grounds. Plenty of free onsite parking. Beautiful vista as you approach the front of the building. Classic and modern inside. Friendly helpful welcome and directions to the room from Andrew and offered to take my bags to the room. The evening meals were delicious and menu choice was good and interesting. Lynne the maitre D on the evening shift made me feel welcome and comfortable. Terry and Norma on the breakfast shift were friendly and good attentive service. The food was the right amount with good presentation and fabulous flavour. The room was newly refurbished and very comfortable the only thing lacking is air conditioning. Thanks for a great stay we’ll be back.
