Amazing resort, view of the mangrove forest, beach, deer, partridge, gray monkeys, Bali starlings, marine park with fish, everything is amazing, the villa is quiet and beautiful, the food at Resto Octagon is delicious, this is a special holiday we at Plataran Menjangan, thank you for everything.

Clean, exciting, embracing nature and wildlife

The hospitality, food, experience (kayaking, snorkeling, morning walk, spa) and ambience are beyond amazing! It 's a perfect place for people/family who love to enjoy outdoor and nature with serene surrounding. My daughter love it as she encounter wildlife (deer, monkey, bird, etc) almost 24 hours). Amazing! Thank you Mb Ariani, Bu Devi, Pak Kadek, Pak Dharma, and all of the staffs. We hope to come back here someday.

Like living with a natural atmosphere, you have to try it here and the beaches are very beautiful, it's just that there are lots of monkeys so you have to always lock your room and not put food in the back bathroom?

Great for the experience of staying at Menjangan services. Even though it's only for a day, in the future if there is a chance we will come back here again.

I made a reservation for a forest villa but then got a free upgrade to an ocean villa. The villas are good. TV channels with smart TV are also very good. It's just that the compliment given at tea time seems "cheap". Also the taste of the food is very ordinary.

Very memorable stay during here, the atmosphere is really private, the activity of the hotel is also fun so it's not boring, must try the national park using the double deck car and the hotel service is really satisfying?

A very pleasant experience even though only 1 night stayed here, Book a room type luxury ocean villa but at check-in can be free upgrade to mangrove ocean villa (highest type), Welcomed directly by the resort manager, has a unique lobby unlike other hotel lobbies in general directly facing the sea and the island of deer. All the staff are very friendly, the food is all delicious, there are snorkeling facilities, like, exploring the forest around the hotel are all free. Can see the deer directly wandering in front of the room, can see the sunrise and sunset as well as from the front of the room. Hope to be back here again.

I stayed in July 2019, very happy the hotel upgraded our order from one room plus extra bed to two villa rooms with a very spacious bathroom. Beautiful and pleasant food, beautiful view, not many animals to be found. In addition to catching monkeys, partridges, a lot of animals. Recommended for families and children, a lot of activities can be done, snorkeling, walking around in a forest that is currently dry, playing on the beach.

Thank you for the great service at the service, for sure we will be back there for vacation with family.

sanctuary for soul and perfect for couple and family

Plataran Menjangan was such a good stay. The ranger who accompanied me was so knowledgeable and it was so much fun exchanging stories. I got to do so many things in one day, really appreciated that the people at the hotel actually helped me create my schedule (since some facilities had to be prepared beforehand). The food was good! The view was so zen, the whole atmosphere really. It was indeed a great place for an escape. Loved that I get to see wild Menjangan as I walked around the hotel. Appreciated that the (assistant?) manager proactively sought for suggestions to improve and listened attentively. Also, I almost ordered a drink but I was told that it would have to be brought from the restaurant a few units down, I told him it's alright, went to the restroom, went back and found that drink I was going to order on the table given as a complimentary - this little surprise was like the cherry on top. Really valued this one last gift right before I left :)

Great hotel but no activity for children

We (4 adults and a 5 year olds) stayed at the two bedroom forrest villa for two nights and it was amazing. 3 out of 15 villas was occupied when we were there so we feel the whole resort belongs to us, we were treated like Royals. Surrounded by nature we feel very relaxed. Husband like to sit at the patio and enjoyed the night breeze (we were lucky, the weather at night is cool and breezy) and listened to the singing of insects. He was very pleased he did not encounter mosquitoes, his worse enemy. Room is clean, bathroom is extremely huge! I personally feel it is too big and a waste of space. The cons, the room is very dark. They really need to put more lighting, it is so dark in the evening I had trouble finding our things in the suitcase. Then the food. Food is not good and could be improved. The resort is out of nowhere guests with no car do not have options than to get a full board meal at the resort. Consider to keep your rental car for the duration of your stay so you can go to the neighbouring resort for dining option. If you want to splurge, Sunset cruise with the Phinisi is recommended (avoid end June-August season if you have seasick! The trip back can be rough). The Phinisi can also take you to Menjangan Island for snorkelling but it is more expensive. Snorkelling at Menjangan Island is awesome! Important, don't forget to ask direction to the resort! It can be quite tricky to get to the resort!
