We stayed one night, booking three rooms on the 7th floor. It was fine at first, until dusk: a local dangdut orchestra next door was playing, and the sound was all in our room, so we had to shout. Until 11 PM, the hotel staff didn't seem to be making any extra effort to ask the orchestra to stop or move us, as our room was adjacent to the orchestra. We even approached the residents and asked to lower the volume, but were instead reprimanded by the host.
The hotel didn't seem to maintain its surroundings, and we were caught off guard by a super-duper orchestra disturbing our guests. The environment and the building's construction also lacked thick materials, soundproofing, or noise reduction.
We ended up finding another hotel that night and changed because the music was truly inhumane for us to rest.
I regret staying at the Maxone Hotel, having to pay double the price because I found another hotel at the last minute.
