Our stay at the Grand Ezel Hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. Located outside the city, the hotel isn't the easiest to reach without a car. However, small buses are available for cash payments, providing transportation to the city and the marina.
From the start, the service was commendable. However, our initial experience in the room was disappointing. There were no towels, no toilet paper, and only one small blanket suitable for one person. I had to call reception to request these basic items, which should be standard in any hotel.
The room itself, including the bathroom, was in need of renovation. The bedsheet didn't fit the mattress properly, which was quite annoying as it kept slipping off during the night, leaving us sleeping directly on the mattress.
The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Despite these issues, the service and friendliness of the staff were exceptional. Every day, we were greeted with a smile, which made our stay more pleasant.
Overall, while the Grand Ezel Hotel has room for improvement in terms of amenities and room condition, the excellent service and friendly staff do make a positive difference.
