This vegetarian B&B was a real find. An old Control Tower, restored in authentic1040s style. Delightful owners, lovely breakfasts, comfortable rooms. Very handy for visiting the coast. Owners very thoughtful & helpful with information & recommendations.

This was our second fabulous stay at the Control Tower. I cannot speak too highly of it. We are looking forward to booking another stay here. Hopefully, next time, we won't have to rush off so that we can do the tour of this fascinating Art Deco property.

Peaceful and comfortable 1 night stay with friendly, courteous and hospitable hosts in their charming Art Deco style, Control Tower house and garden. Comfortable, clean and spacious ensuite bedroom with bath/shower and use of living room (no TV), with interesting choice of books. Informative conversation about the former WW2 North Creake RAF airfield site, with welcome tea on arrival and vegetarian breakfast next morning. Location close to Fakenham, Holkam Hall and Wells next the sea.

Absolutely fantastic stay, thanks to the efforts of Claire and Nigel. The Control Tower has been sympathetically restored to its original style and Bomber Command history simply seeps out of the walls...To those of us with an interest in the subject this B&B is a must! That said, lovers of art-deco style will be equally entranced. We were made to feel very welcome and the breakfasts were tasty and filling...I hardly missed the bacon at all! We will be back!

The Control Tower is nothing short of fabulous, especially if you are fans of modernism architecture and Art Deco. Claire and Nigel are brilliant hosts. The breakfast was excellent and brought to our room too! We will definitely stay here again.

Historical WW2 control tower tasefully renovated with 40s furniture and art deco decorations but with modern comforts, eqyption cotton sheets, large en-suite, hot water, huge towells with Norfolk toiletteries. Old war posters and photographs, plenty of books and magazines. Excellent cooked breakfast with local produce, yogurts, spiced apples, Autumn friuts. Hosts Nigel and Clair were friendly and efficient. Recommend taking Nigels tour of the control tower with history of the airfield.

Lovely hosts who are passionate about their very individual B&B which they have restored and refurbished wonderfully with authentic 1940s/50s and 60s themed furniture & fittings etc. A warm welcome with refreshments was very much appreciated with tasty biscuits and the breakfast was excellent. A hidden country gem handy for everywhere in North Norfolk.

From the moment we arrived and were served a tea grown in Cornwall we understood that they had thought of everything. It helps that we like retro decor as from the tea pot to the furnishings the emphasis is on authentic 1940/50s. The room garden suite was comfortable and despite the period decor the bathroom and shower was very good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was served in our room laying up the table with a lined tablecloth, and all the produce was local, from the granola to the yogurt. It helped that we were very happy with vegetarian. After breakfast Nigel provided a tour and talk on the history of the Control Tower and airfield which was fascinating. You think about the 2nd WW bomber crews who were based here and the many who never came home.

We’ve just stayed 2 nights as a family of 3 in the Stirling annex at the Control Tower. The annex as well as the Control Tower have been lovingly restored to an extremely high finish with quality fittings and amazing attention to detail. I was in Art Deco heaven! The hosts, Claire and Nigel, are very welcoming and really go the extra mile for their guests. As well as giving us lots of useful local information about places to explore in the area, they gave us a great welcome on arrival with tea and biscuits. The breakfast is delicious with quality ingredients and we had it brought to our room which was very relaxing. This is definitely quality bed and breakfast with a difference in a stunning part of north Norfolk. We would love to come back. Thank you Claire and Nigel for a wonderful stay.

What an absolutely great place. Nigel and Clare were fantastic and very welcoming. Breakfast was the best. The passion and enthusiasm they both have to maintain the buildings heritage is commendable and well worth doing the tour Nigel puts on. The attention to detail speaks for itself. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Stirling Suite for a mini-break. This was very clean, spacious and comfortable and had many extras e.g. plenty of books and board games, biscuits from a local supplier alongside the tea and coffee. The bathroom was spacious and has a pleasant shower over a large bath, and heated towel rails. The garden location provides privacy and a pleasant view. An excellent breakfast was brought to us each morning at a pre-arranged time. We were spoilt for choice but favourites were the yoghurt, berries, apple juice and boiled eggs with 'airmen'. The taste of the local produce is exceptional. The owners are very attentive and have taken a lot of care to make the place comfortable (and beautifully decorated) and guests to feel welcome. They provide local information and recommendations- we did follow some and were not left disappointed. At the end of our stay we opted to have a tour of the Control Tower, which was absolutely fascinating. The B&B served as an excellent base for exploring and we are very keen to stay there again in future.
