The property is basically a garden shed with basic amenities. There were stains on the floor and walls, only one knife one spoke one fork and one teaspoon and the cups, plates hadn’t been washed and were sticky, plus there were no bowls just plates! On the first night I complained about the smell in the flat which didn’t really get sorted and the next morning we had our first showers in the room. This was a huge problem as it only had hot water for 20 seconds; we were just so disappointed. After complaining to the company about the above points plus also a TV that stopped working they moved us to another one called Maple which was better in terms of facilities but also had mould in the shower, which we cleaned and the basic decor needed uplifting and repainting. They are building and refitting new lodges in the grounds which are lovely but these older “sheds” are definitely not worth the money. Very poor.

The post code would put you a good 500 meters down the road, and at night it was very difficult to find for the first time, as one of the gates to the area was shut and the other entry was down an unlit path that looked more like an unfinished parking area. You only had enough hot water to fill a sink, and that hot water would be scalding for 30 seconds then gone. I couldn’t get warm to hot shower, because as soon as you got the shower to temperature it went cold, because the hot water had run out. Because I tried to have a shower and all the hot water had gone, i boiled the kettle to at least have a top and tail with hot water in the sink. The kettle would blow the fuse so I had to unplug all the heaters so i could boil the kettle. The TV has no signal, so if you don't carry your own LAPTOP with Netflix and so on your watching telly on your phone. You needed to flush the toilet several times if you wanted to use it There was no table so all paperwork and mealtimes are done from sitting on the bed. The outside drive light was damaged. The wood on the entry porch area was spongy and felt like it was going to give way at any time. Spiders don’t bother me, but if they did, the place was crawling with them. I sent photos, i contacted you guys, you said we will send people to look at or fix the issues when I raised them, no one came, and the only response for the water issue was “it’s the size of the hot water tank” I sent an email and they responded, we apologise Rubbish

A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent.

Lovely location and would be a nice place. Unfortunately for me there was a leak in the bathroom and a terrible musty and damp smell that is more than just a bit of damp. Once sorted it would be nice but needs addressing before being used again. All equipment and bedding was clean and new.
