The space is quiet and clean and the suites have everything you need and so much space. The people at the front desk are always so friendly and eager to help! Will definitely stay again.

Very clean and the kitchen had everything needed.

Very nice rooms . But very cold . Cannot control the baseboard heat. My girlfriend was frozen the whole time. The fan coil unit may as well be a fan it definately doesnt throw heat at all

I stayed at the Barker Hotel & Suites while working in the Portage la Prairie area, and it exceeded every expectation. The suites are spacious with a kitchenette, kitchen table, and separate living space. Everything was spotless, quiet. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I loved having access to laundry facilities and reliable Wi-Fi, and the location was ideal: just a few minutes’ drive from town, but tucked away enough to feel calm and private and safe.

Loved the Barker! Suites are more like apartments with separate bedroom, living room, and full kitchen. Free laundry and breakfast. Not your normal hotel, decor is minimalist but clean and relaxing. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

Peculiar set up. We arrived at about eight, which meant there was no staff anywhere on the premises nor was there any staff at any point all night. Security had to come from offsite to let us in. Everything is very new, but the furniture is very uncomfortable. No amenities within 10 minute drive of the hotel, however, it is extremely quiet area! No electrical outlets by either side, the bed, which was a problem for me as I need to plug in a CPAC . The kitchen and amount of space is wonderful. If I were staying in this area for an extended period I probably would really like this place but for one night it was a little strange.

The rooms were excellent but the breakfast lacking. Would definitely recommend!

When we arrived at the hotel the front staff are done at 8pm, meaning we were unable to check-in....

Extremely clean, price was good but the front desk administration was quite unorganized. Checking in was inacceptably long. I didnt care for the hotel being located in such an industrial area, no shops nearby.

This has been the cleanest and most comfortable place we have stayed and we just did a full month travelling Ontario. I highly recommend staying here when in the Portage Le Prairie area. Or even if doing things in Winnipeg worth the drive

This property was really great to stay at. It was so quiet, clean, staff was lovely, room was really wonderful, very clean! It is located just outside of portage Laprairie, next to the airport. There is no question I would stay here again.

Spacious, clean and quiet. This property is our first choice when looking for a hotel near or around Portage la Prairie. 5 star.
