The rooms where great, the staff very helpfulness but the main areas where totally under construction with no seating inside or out anywhere. The pool was very clean and kept up, and very spacious to swim. No extra towels out and again no seating anywhere except a few old dirty broken lounge chairs. The location is perfect. The guest computer broken as well. The Hotel itself is very nice and lobby is very inviting plenty of parking, well lighted for safety.

I have stayed at the Rodeway Inn over the past several months because I am traveling to Ft. Myers for business.
I select the hotel because of its proximity to the office.
Each time I find the AC in the rooms to cool less than adequate. I am also a person who doesn't want it to be extremely cold. I also know that its FL and can be quite hot. Nevertheless, the temperature in the rooms is barely tolerable. I have experienced this in every room, except one. I even stayed in one room where the AC did not work properly at all but by the time I realized it I was fully unpacked, and it was early evening.
I will stay at the hotel again. I now ask if the AC is working and don't unpack until I feel that the temperature is at least tolerable.

The reviews were a little scary and mentioned bugs. I saw NO BUGS. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It’s older, and no frills, but it was a good, inexpensive place to shower and sleep.

The person who answered the phone & the check in lady were great. The one guy overnight had an attitude and looked annoyed when I asked one simple question. Found a bug in the bathroom. TV was dirty. And if you want to plug/charge anything you need to unplug one of their devices like a lamp or clock cause there isnt enough outlets. No premium channels but plenty of normal channels. Other than the 1 buggy, clean room. Comfy bed, spacious and well priced.

It would appear that this particular property is family owned. I love the fact that the staff is there 24 hours. And I’m sure they’re slowly working on renovating some of the rooms. I know they have a small area of sundries and snacks, but it would be nice if they were able to set up a small light breakfast every morning. Maybe that’s the plans down the line. Other than that I think for when I need the property, it is just fine, I do feel the rooms are clean. Linens are clean and again the staff is very friendly and professional. This was my fifth stay at the property.

When I first checked in, they gave me a smoking room which I requested but the TV and the house phone was in operable move me to another room, and there were roaches. My experience here was terrible other than the staff was nice. Would not recommend this.

The room stank like dog pee. The bed was dirty , there was no towels un the bathroom or any toilerets , and no hot water( it was acold night ...so the water was feezing!!)the carpet had a pile of dirt on a side of the room. I went to the front desk to notify the clerk and she said she coulnt do nothing and that no one else had conolaint aboyt no hot water in the showers. She didnt want to change us from rooms because it would tale away her availability on the rooms she had. After i wentfor the 3rd ti.e and ended up changing ny own sheets in the room ,she gave me another room with a single and smaller bed.
Mr and my kids Had been on 10 hrs flight , and this was the worst place to come and rest!!
