One of the more venerated temples in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra Singh.

After it was transferred to Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, the Thai king donated a replica to the temple which still stands today.

Next we’ll visit the Tha Phae Gate. A famous landmark for locals and visitors alike, it was once part of a high-bricked defensive wall that surrounded the city.

Today, the gate is now a popular meet up place with a host of bars, restaurants, and hotels within walking distance.

It was built in the 14th century and is famous for its northern Thai designs and impeccable gardens.

After picking you up from your hotel, our first stop will be Wat Chedi Luang. Known as the “Temple of the Big Stupa”, this 700+ year old temple – famous for its Lanna-inspired designs – was once the home of the much revered statue of the Emerald Buddha.

Or check out the vendors and their wares before dropping you off at your hotel.

We’ll stop by Warorot Market or Muang Mai Street Market where you can shop local street food or produce.

We’ll pass by the 3 Kings Monument, a shrine named after the three founders of Chiang Mai, before moving on to another temple – Wat Phra Singh.

After wandering around the gate, we’ll visit Wat Srisuphan, or the Silver Temple because of its ornate silver-colored designs.
