Does swimming, snorkeling, and hopping from island to island sound like the ideal day spent in tropical bliss? Explore Phi Phi Island’s surrounding jewels and visit landscapes of paradise the likes of Bamboo Island, Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, and Loh Samah Bay.
Bamboo Island: Our first stop is the popular snorkeling spot Bamboo Island. Admire the powdery-white sand covering the heart-shaped island and wade in the shallow, clear waters to catch a glimpse of colorful marine life swimming around the coral reefs.
Monkey Beach: Then we’ll head to the scenic Monkey Beach, named after rowdy macaques that roam the island. You can get close to and take photos of the cheeky animals, but avoid feeding them as it’s not good for them.
Viking Cave: We’ll stop by Viking Cave next, and look at the Scandinavian ships painted on the walls of the cave some 150 years ago. We’ll also try to spot the famous birds’ nests that are harvested at death-defying heights by the locals for bird’s nest soup, famous in Chinese cuisine.
Loh Samah Bay: Our last stop of the day will be at the beautiful Loh Samah, where we’ll dive into the cool waters and swim with the exotic fish before boarding our boat and heading back to the pier.
