Bandar Lampung has a tropical climate, so it can be visited year-round. However, if you wish to avoid the rainy season, consider coming between April and October. During these months, the weather is sunnier, and you can explore the tourist attractions in the city comfortably.

Bandar Lampung offers various activities for tourists. You can visit Way Kambas National Park, which is a 3-hour drive from the city center, to see the Sumatran elephants, relax at Mutun Beach, or explore the local culture in Kampung Ujung Tanjung. While Bandar Lampung is a relatively modern city, it's advisable to wear modest clothing when visiting religious or traditional places. Avoid wearing attire that is too short or revealing, especially when visiting mosques or other places of worship.
