Formerly an important trade center in the 19th century, these days Boat Quay is more famous as a busy nightlife spot. The riverside shophouses have been restored and converted into modern restaurants, pubs, cocktail bars, and clubs. Some of the places might be a bit pricey and touristy, but a few local favorites can also be found in the area.
