Its under new management. The Wi-Fi did not work. They agreed that it does not work near the end of the hotel. They glibly asked us to use the Wi-Fi. We cancelled our stay after the first night. They have still not refunded the money back to use. The Cafe in the photo opens late and has exceedingly poor service. There is just one person and it took her 30 mins to heat up a croissant.

Arrived at reception, female tells me not received any booking and has no room. I attempt to show her my emails and receipts for payment. She wouldn't look at me. Evenrually she said you need to phone Agoda sometime they no good. We had driven 2 and half hrs . I ask her for help, she wouldnt look at me, then kept ignoring me.

The bed and linen were acceptable however nothing else was. The tap fell off the wall, stains, cobwebs and dirt were on all fittings and fixtures. And hammering & sounds as if the ceiling was about to come down on us from 7.30am. Avoid!

I would like to see once the renovations have been finished. The staff were really nice and suggested a great place to go for dinner.
However the headboards had stains everywhere. Paint peeling off the walls and chips on the floor tiles in bathrooms. Marks on the desk and all the switches. Definitely needs a good vacuum but that is probably cause of all the renovations with the dust. The towels and sheets were clean and soft.

Bed was clean and comfortable, the room was reasonably presented.
Areas for improvement if required would be the vanity leak fixed so floor not wet, drapes cleaned and floor stains removed.

You are paying for an old, ill equipped, very basic room. No coat hangers, batteries in the remote, utensils of any kind even though there was a microwave in the room. The 'leather' lounge was badly peeling, the bed headboards stained and furniture was in disrepair. The photo is of the cafe advertised to open at 7:30am but in real time not until after 9am. The photo also doesn't show multiple piggy backed power leads at the front door reminiscent of a third world premises.
Paint was bubbling and peeling from the bathroom walls, the window sill stained, grout in between tiles blackened and vanity falling apart. Fortunately the sheets were clean.
I was visiting a relative at the nearby hospital and wanted to check out a couple of days early and there was no flexibility here. I was directed to Expedia although I booked through Wotif and was billed by Travelscape . . . The staff were not interested at all in helping me.
The detailed invoice I found after booking showed that the Saturday night rate was double that of Thursday- Friday which felt misleading.
I would never stay here again or recommend it.

I didn’t like anything about it . It was in the middle of a renovation. The state of the room was shabby. People getting up in the middle of the night running down the corridors . No room service. Completely without any merit Never again will I witness such a dump

Very happy with my stay in this hotel. The only downside was being a Sunday night there was very little options close by for dinner and breakfast was only available after 7.30 which was not an option for us as we had to be left by 7.30.
But overall was happy with our stay

Do not book this hotel. Arrived and was told that there was no power in the main building and that my room was in the cheaper hotel next door. Photos of this building are not a true indication of what it actually looks like. Steer clear!!!

Seemed like a reasonable, efficient last minute booking, unfortunately not.

Housing location for unwell and addicted persons
My partner and I left in the middle of the night due to an addict yelling, screaming, and walking up and down the hallway unwell. She was very aggressive and we did not feel safe. The hotel staff did not attempt to rectify the issue. Called the police she was a known person to the police and they have had to attend the property on many occasions due to this. The police also noted she was a long term resident.
Hotels.com have still not refunded the nights we did not stay and it’s been 4 days since we checked out early.

The Comfort Hotel lived up to its name. It gave us the convenience of easy walking distance to the MCG we were attending a function there. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted - Independence, comfy beds, good bathroom & shower, easy access, close to facilities & public transport, staff were helpful and polite. Had a great couple of days, could not wish for more. Very satisfied.
