Best Western Williams Lake Hotel

Bed was very comfortable.

Nice check in even had a jacuzzi in the room

The ventilation does not work in the washroom

We had a great stay at this hotel. Hot tub was closed for maintenance.

Let's say you're traveling in the winter and have to stop in Williams Lake. That's bad enough. So you book a hotel with a pool and hot tub. That's the only thing you can look forward to. Do they tell you that the hot tub won't be available? Or that the pool may as well be outside in the snow because it's gonna be too cold to be in? Nope. Take your money and you're stuck in a lame hotel with nothing. That really frosts my knickers. The breakfast bar was reasonable though.

We arrived to find that a sign on the front counter said “ hot tub closed” which was a disappointment because the hotel was chosen for that purpose and our son was sad. But we thought we’d give it a try. The staff at the front was short and toook a very long time checking us in we clarified with her that the pool was still open, she said yes. We went to our room and thought we’d try to save the night by trying the pool. To find that the whole pool area was dark, the pool was freezing! My husband went to find the staff to atleast turn on pool lights. We spent atleast 10 minutes with my toddler in the pool, cause he’s 3 and country wait after travelling all day. Before the staff helped multiple other guests before coming to turn on the lights. We were already leaving because it was so cold. The hotel room was very dry (air) and very very cold. Over all it was what I expect out of the cheaper “quick stay, quick sleep” hotels not a 300$/night room to have no amenities and one staff unable to balance helping everyone.

Breakfast was one of the better ones weve had at a hotel

Quiet, nice view of the mountains over the lake and a few nearby convenient food snd liquor options.

We enjoyed our stay, but the only disappointing part was that the hot tub was under maintenance for the entire weekend. Having a hot tub is nice during the colder months.

Property is good. Breakfast is good. Room cleaning is very poor. Very sloppy cleaning. Don't change sheets and not well cleaned and not every day. Rooms are nice. Overall - a good hotel.

We had a great stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only reason for 4 stars was the hot water wasn’t so hot. Not sure we showered the same time as everyone else!!?? The service was awesome and the breakfast bar was nice.
