Lots of olaces to eat within walkin distance

Look, it's the cheapest place in town and it's obvious why. There was a pervasive and pungent smell of harsh cleaning products in the hallways as well as in the rooms that was almost dizzying. The carpets are stained throughout and the paint on the walls is scratched up and stained as well. There were stains on the room's curtains and the bathroom was also superficially clean. For another 30-40 dollars I strongly encourage you to stay elsewhere. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Red Flag #1, when we arrived to check in the people in front of us were complaining that there were already people in their room, in the bed and vodka bottles all around (they never actually left but were checked out which means the room isn’t cleaned inbetween guests or they would’ve noticed people were still there). Red Flag#2 the homeless gentleman that was asking us for $5 for “milk” came in after us to use the washroom Red Flag#3, we had to do a series of specific actions in order to open the door lock since it didn’t work well. The automatic door lock was partially smashed and had a screw crudely holding part of the handle together. We had to get another room since we were unable to open the door. We should’ve left at that point but it was late and didn’t have the energy to look for another hotel. The hallways stunk of cigarette smoke and the room looked like something you’d see in a horror movie where people are murdered. The carpet was gross so we wouldn’t take our shoes off. We sat on the bed and sunk down so we could feel the boxspring. There was no cushion left and the springs were digging into us. We ended up sleeping in our clothes on top of the bed, wearing our shoes; there was no way we were getting into those sheets. This place should not be able to sell rooms in this condition. Complete nightmare but at least we’ll have a good story on how we survived a night in the murder hotel.

Was last updated on the 70s. Mattresses that were not servicable, springs and wire rods sticking or of them, left some DNA behind on those, going for a tetanus shot later today, ripped, torn and would collapse almost completely flat down to the springs in the bottom, good fun to try and sleep on. Furnished with rejects from sallyann. Continental breakfast is coffee and toast. Don't bother asking for a second pack of jam, once they run out no one is going to the back room to get more. Putting the ECONOMY in Econolodge. Spuge stains in the carpets were interesting and don't even ask about the soggy business card the last guest left on the night table... you think someone might have tossed that out when cleaning t the room. Water has 2 settings, off and full blast spraying out of the sink and around the room... I mean seriously, spend the extra $10 and go elsewhere... maybe the homeless shelter would be better... and ya you are welcome, I bent that wire coming out of the mattress back down inside it so it didn't cause anymore injuries.

Outdated, damage and burn marks in room, bad smell, door locks sketchy and key card slots damaged. Stayed less than an hour then checked out.

My room was so outdated, which is fine. There was sheets and blankets on the bed ment for a king we had doubles, which is fine. The chair and ottaman are badly stained with I don’t want to know. The carpet was so dirty and grimy the the ground outside was cleaner. The shower did not even want to attempt that….hair in the tub drain, turned the water on for giggles and it was plugged when it finally did drain there was all kinds of sludge that was left in the tub. Half used shampoo and conditioner bottles, tv remote okay to change channel volume had to be done with buttons on the back of the tv.

Quiet room. Loved the 2 door entry to me room.

Price point and location

Did not feel the safest as police showed up in a room nearby.

Staff at check in unhelpful; other staff fine. Breakfast a bit disappointing. Bathroom needed repair and freshening. Beds clean and reasonably comfortable.

After reading alot of reviews i was kind of worried but when we checked it the room was clean and spacious and definitely worth the price $120 rather than spending $300 at Days in. Definitely would stay again if in Orillia

The place is a mess. We looked around before we checked in. Unacceptable. Very dirty. We left before we checked in.

The place was awful, smells really bad and the beds were super old and uncomfortable Not recommended at all

The room was straight out of the 80s and it smelt like absolutely terribe, probably from mold. Dont stay here
