Hotel Bonaparte

Front desk hotel staff were exceptional. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco at check-in. Concierge’s recommendations were so helpful and were all exactly what we were looking for. Front desk staff saw us coming in with wine one afternoon and quickly offered us a corkscrew (we had intentionally bought screw caps.) We had a view of Notre Dame from our window and hotel soundproofing was so good we could barely hear the hourly chimes. Only downside was the treacherous icy condition of the street on the whole block.

This is a lovely hotel directly adjacent to a parking lot so you can park your vehicle. The restaurant was excellent and the room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was delivered daily to the room and held in a little basket by the door. I caution to call the breakfast included a "continental breakfast". It was a cute boxed croissant with butter and jelly, a piece of cheese, a cranberry and pumpkin seed snack pack and some apple juice. I would have prefered some alternative to the daily criossants and would have welcomed a piece of fresh fruit. Coffee you had to make yourself in the room from a Keurig machine. Coffee in the room with a Keurig machine is hardly a replacement for fresh brewed which would be more in tune with this hotel's quality, but was lacking. Overall though the facility and staff were super!

We had to leave our apartment for a few days on short notice and the Hotel Bonaparte was a great choice. I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in Montreal. To me it's more for adults than kids (no pool, the restaurant is more "grown up", etc.) but I prefer that vibe anyway.
