This property exceed my expectations, from the staff to the amenities. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and it was an unforgettable experience.

We loved the indoor/outdoor pool, view of the lake, room and the customer service. The spa was nice, but they didn’t let us know that the cold “plunge” shower was not in service (part of the circuit). The buffet meal was meh.
Overall though, gorgeous spot and great swimming!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Marriott Muskoka for two nights. Much needed family bonding and reconnection time. We came prepared with easy meals to cook in room, and plenty of snacks. Once you get to the resort in the winter, plan to stay and enjoy the facilities as it will be challenging to drive out for a grocery run or anything of the sort. Much of its appeal is the rustic and stunning nature that surrounds the property, and one cannot expect Uber or anything like that :)
Staff was incredibly kind, wonderful and accommodating. We dined out twice and prices and quality were what we expected for a hotel of this caliber.
The indoor/ outdoor pool was the main attraction for my kids. You can also enjoy the scenic outdoors by walking, snowshoeing, riding on fat bikes to help them burn off some energy. Rooms are well-appointed, spotless, soundproofed and met our expectations.
We will be back again - the kids did not want to leave, and their 'review' is what matters most. :)

Rooms are first rate. Spacious, clean, well appointed. Hotel grounds and amenities the same.
The restaurant we ate at though was expensive and sub par. My steak wasn’t cooked properly and it also wasn’t the steak shown on the menu. My whole meal was like warm. My wife’s pasta was also only like warm. For the price I would expect the quality of the meal to be a lot higher.
I would stay at this hotel again but would avoid the food there at all cost. McDonald’s is a better option. At least their food is hot!
