Beautiful room,the way it was laid out and clean,great bed and shower.The only problem was that the hot tub wasn’t working.But I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent accommodations

Not bad

Birthday getaway. We’ve stayed at The Hollis multiple times and really enjoy the hotel. We returned Friday evening and asked the lobby for one steak knife or sharper then a butter knife and we’re told no . Not a problem, we went up to the room and after an hour we realized that the room temperature did not change no matter what setting we tried. The room was very warm. Also the hotel water on the 7th floor was very cloudy. Both taps produced the same, can’t see through the glass haze. There was no smell or taste difference to be fair but it was very strange to say the least. We left a note when we left (as well as a remote with no battery life) overall the stay was good and we will be back again. Just somethings to be aware of.

Liked the large suites. It was clean but some furniture had lots of wear and tear.

Central location. There was no valet parking or underground parking. Parking was outside in a vacant lot. $25 per night. This should be noted and fully disclosed on the hotels.com app and by the hotel. The price of the downtown hotels in winter months is high and I would stay further out of the city next time.

Great staff and location

No complaints :) It was as expected. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The property was accessible and easy to get to/navigate. Great restaurants around and excellent location.

The suite was great !! Some minor construction across the street but nothing major. Check in very welcoming !

Our room had a peculiar odor. TV remote wasn’t working but the big thing was it was very warm. AC wasn’t available so room was uncomfortable for sleeping.

Room was good, and the view. But for the night we went they had closed their bar and kitchen, and no ability to order any food through them, which created an issue for our night. This also went against what was advertised for the amenities.

Nice newly renovated hotel with great location. Great service. They accommodated us with an adjoining room for our children.

Friendly staff

The light switch in the bedroom did not work and the lamp by the bed did not work.

Second time staying there, and it will continue to be our go-to spot in Halifax.

Really excellent location. Accessible to almost anywhere. Very walkable.
