West Edmonton Mall Inn

Everything was great, walking distance was perfect.

Breakfast is poor, no bodywash in rooms.

Clean rooms , very professional staff.

No complaints about the cleanliness.

Nice experience

Good hotel except for No wifi despite being told several times. Apparently are aware of the situation but not fixing it.

Very close to the West Edmonton mall

Immediate regrets after I walked in the front door. My rate was not cheap at all, the room was dingy, had hairs all over the place - sheets, pillowcases, bathtub- and some of the “guests” looked like they lived there - for all the wrong reasons. I was in town for a conference - won’t be back - no matter how convenient the location is.

This property breakfast is horrible, the room was very beat up, and I took of video of the banging that was happening in the hallway early morning. 👎

Check your sheets before you crawl into bed.

Checkout time was way too early, requested a noon checkout and was told to come back the next day…came back at 6am before going to work for a couple hours, was told to come back later…. Really inconvenient. No soap in the room either and shower didn't drain great. Expected better at this price range. Beds were comfy and room as clean, good location, just some frustrations.

No room safe. Toilet broke. Renovations on floor above us. Limited options for breakfast. Just a generally poor experience. Would not go back ever again.

The hotel had no wifi and you are expected to log into the free wifi from the mall across the street which worked for me and two of my kids but not for my other son. So he had a terrible experience as he didn’t have any data otherwise. They took forever to bring us our cot, almost 8 hours to be exact. The hotel false advertised or the name was very misleading as I thought it was part of the mall as they even added photos of the West Edmonton pool on their Expedia site. I was confused when we arrived to find that it was not connected and was across the street and not actually part of the mall or the pool at all.

When we walked in the front desk lady was just great. Unfortunately it is an extremely busy hotel and she was all by herself. I’d say they could use at least one other staff, especially on busy days. There was no soap in our room at all. Again, wanted to ask for some but every time o went up the front desk she was so busy. There was a loud bang in our room all night, maybe from pipes or heater. Who knows. Extremely convenient location to the mall though.

My family and I stayed at this Inn for the New Year's for two nights. We were all super disappointed to see that our room's refrigerator was broken and after notifying the front end staff that we needed to store food, nothing was ever done even though we were told: “that a mechanic came in to check”. We were also disappointed that we were not able to get any discounts to the water park and mall even though we were told by Expedia that everything was included. The add description needs to be more clear or else that’s super false advertising. Furthermore, the rooms were in bad shape. Lots of carvings and vandalism. One of our bed frames was also damaged and at night we were able to hear all of our neighbours and a weird clicking sound kept happening. We did however like the included breakfast but wished there were more protein options perhaps some sausages or bacon. We really wish someone from the front end was able to truly help make our experience better here or at least provide some kind of compensation due to all of the issues we ran through. We definitely don’t recommend this hotel/Inn if anyone is looking to visit Edmonton and its mall.

Needs renovation

Had to wait awhile for someone to appear at the front desk before being checked in. Once in the room the bed appeared to had been slept in due to the comforter being creased badly. Nice it is directly across from WEM. Breakfast provided was cold hard boiled eggs, pancakes and toast.

Nice staff, helpful. Very many charging options in rooms. Spacious. Accommodates pets.
