Best Western Valley Hotel

Best western have always been of a good standard

All benefits of convenience were there. I have stayed at the Valley Hotel before, and it has clearly maintained its quality. One minor issue though, in cold and wet weather, the sloping car park needed care to negotiate, as ice was a hazard. However, I am not aware of any accidents or falls.

Business Trip. Fit for purpose

Upon arrival there was no receptionist to greet us and another guest went to retrieve someone from the staff party who wasn’t officially working. We therefore weren’t given our vouchers and a full check in. The hotel was clean enough but freezing, Ourselves and other guests were very cold. We were told it was due to the hotel being closed over Christmas and it needed to warm up. Whilst I understand that, maybe the building should be preheated for the comfort of its guests and staff. It made for freezing showers, cold rooms and cold dining. The breakfast was very nice and quick service. There is no extraction in the bathroom leaving puddles of condensation. Beautiful area and walks around with an antique fair and museum nearby which was an enjoyable couple of hours and free entry.

Great stay. Lovely spacious room. Nice big bath. Quiet but many stairs to climb! Fantastic food. Really delicious. Very friendly staff.

Lovely area and staff were great but the building and rooms are very dated and need a lot doing to them, as it’s not worth the high price.

the staff were all very good and helpful.The room was good with a comfortable bed.The bathroom was a little on the small size

Staff were very good and helpful. Lady on front desk very pleasant on check in. And the meal in the restaurant was delicious 😋 and the staff in the restaurant very good and helpful with my coeliac diet. Only negative was the wall's were paper thin and we could hear everything from next door. Especially in the bathroom. We did enjoy the stay. Was easy to walk to the bridge from the hotel as well.

We had a twin room which was clean and quiet. The hotlel had a restaurant and a bar and free car parking onsite. Staff were friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely property, staff very attentive to needs. Dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations.

Excellent location for Ironbridge

Close to Ironbridge and museums. On the edge of a lovely park and the River Severn. An old building with interesting architecture and examples of the famous tiles from the area. I had a single room which was fine but it didn't have a window with fresh air which I didn't like. The mattress needed a topper. The breakfast had a very limited choice.

Nice hotel just outside of Ironbridge with plenty of eating and drinking places within walking distance. A nice park to walk around and lovely scenery.

Convenient for Ironbridge

Repeat visit & not disappointed. Everything is still of a very high standard, from the warmth of the reception to dinner and on to breakfast. Will certainly return
