Big Blue Hotel

Could potentially be very decent if they could bring breakfast prices down from £18pp. Asked for half hour late check out but got told to pay £15. Asked for 30min late check out at Hampton by Hilton down the road and they gave me 1 hour complimentary(nice surprise). These little things make big difference. Building flooring creaks alot . If these things could be looked at this hotel has the potential to be number 1 in blackpool.

The hofel is beautiful. Situated on the sea front with some awesome views. The room was absolutely spotless and lovely and warm. The complimentary wine was a very nice touch. The only downside for me, personally, was the mattress was very hard and unforgiving but if you like a firm bed you'll love these. All in all a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay again.

Nice room, but dated and average facilities. Tv!!! No HD in 2025!! And no charging points any where near the bed!! £10 parking and £18 for a breakfast!!! This place needs a re think and an update!

We always stay at this hotel but this time the room we had was very small double bedroom with very small window which only tilts open small space which is no good for me as I suffer from claustrophobia. Apart this time with small room we never are disappointed with this hotel.

We stayed in a deluxe double room and although the room was decent with a nice little fireplace it wasn’t very user friendly. No plugs next to bed for phone chargers, and if you’re a lady wanting to relax and get ready it’s not very good for this. I had to stand over a drawer unit to get ready and there was no where to plug straighteners anywhere near a mirror so just doesn’t work for that. The food was lovely in the restaurant and the staff in both reception and the restaurant were very friendly.

Stayed before and liked it so booked again. Well situated, modern, clean and tidy. Sensibly priced for the standard of accommodation.

Our overall stay was lovely, we were celebrating our anniversary. We had a nice stay, the only thing that slightly marred our stay were the special offers advertised in the room, for the same price we had paid for room only, they were offering dinner and breakfast inclusive which was a little disappointing

Hotel was fanastically clean it the best hotel ive stayed at in blackpool downside is its £20 a day to park your car in the hotels carpark but they did offer us to park over the road where its free staff were also friendly and happy to help

Liked: Proximity to train station Proximity to pleasure beach and south pier Staff friendly Bath The poached eggs freshly made The cooked breakfast Comfy pillows (choice to add more pillows) Easy to check in Luggage storage with tags Disliked: No muesli for breakfast both mornings despite listed on menu Cannot leave windows open even short period of time due to flies/beasties (left open for 1 hour while at dinner and room was infested) One shower gel, one soap and one shampoo sample between 2 isnt enough Gym has no weights or mat Slow draining sink in room More fruit and yoghurts would be good at breakfast I also don't like 2 beds pushed together to make one double bed Overall it wasn't any better than Premier Inn or Travelodge so id probably book there next time or go Deluxe if there's a deal available.

Lovely stay once again, love the friendly helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good.
