The staff were lovely and the hotel clean. The room was spot on with tv, kettle and en suite bathroom. The hotel was situated close to the places of interest we wanted to visit, easy to find and in a quiet area.

We chose this budget hotel for a one night stay in a very convenient location for us. There is free parking outside the door.
The price was very reasonable.
When we got there we were made very welcome by the lady at reception.
The appearance of the Hotel rooms was quite basic with heavy grey doors on the corridor, but there was everything we needed in the room and the room, the bedding and the bathroom were all spotlessly clean.
There was an included breakfast with a buffet and a choice of cooked food. Good inclusive choices for dairy free / vegan etc.

The room was dirty only bed and towels had be been chamged was still rubish left in room carpet hadnot been hoovered was still poo stains in toilet no soap or shampoo in despensors the tv was held together with black tape and half channels didnot work was very unsatisfied

I found sleep difficult with the traffic and general doors opening/ closing. Room is basic, real lack of plug sockets. Room was very clean and smelt of bleach on arrival

Check in was ok,room was very basic. Disappointing only one plug socket available in the room when kettle was not in use,no sockets near to the two single beds. The pillows were terrible causing a very restless night for both of us,one bed felt like it was on a skateboard, moving across the room at the slightest touch. After a poor nights sleep to be woken up and walked in on at 10.10am by cleaning staff, shouting "hello,hello,"I'll come back" when check out is not untill 12pm midday. Very disappointed compared to Campanile hotel we stayed at in liverpool last year..

The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable. Infact the rooms were spotless with attention to detail. The hotel could do with a little TLC here and there, but overall excellent for the price paid.

The Campanile is very reasonable and convenient for where we need to be. We have used it for years and unfortunately it’s starting to get a bit tired. It’s still good value for money and the showers are the most powerfull I have encountered.

Excellent service from the two youngsters who were on duty that evening Keira and Radham, I think they were. Cheerful and attentive, without being intrusive. They made for a pleasant end to what had been a very trying day.
The hotel was in pretty good condition. Needs some tlc but clean and functional. Rather better than my experience in Glasgow. My faith in Campanile is somewhat restored by Washington.
The burger was good, too.

Compact but clean and comfortable and excellent value.
Only a single 13amp socket, at ground level, near the door. Fortunately, we always travel with an extension lead and a multiple usb charger.
Unintended amusement was provided by a printed appeal to save energy, which has clearly been translated from French by someone whose native language is not English.
