College Street Abode - Guest House

Nice guesthouse, located very convenient near Historic Docks, train station, shopping centre.

Cockroachs in the kitchen. I only dared use to make coffe as found 3 Cockroachs in the kitchen. Not the best bed.

Arrived after sunset. Searched for almost 2 hours to find the place. Map provided pointed to what was a park with no buildings on it. Asked passersby, that said they lived in the area for over 20 year, never heard of the place or the address. I went into a convenience store and asked for directions - the employee never heard of the place - which was surprising, since when I finally 'stumbled' across the door when a car's headlights briefly illuminated the door, the convenience store was in the same building! No on-site service, no obvious signage, emailed directions and map was useless. did not feel secure in room. Shared bathroom (sign over the toilet said roof leaked) in a second floor flat with several 'private bedrooms' with common area living room and kitchen. Not at all what was expected. But the internet connection was very good.

I would have preferred an en suite bathroom and only booked this because there were few options available

Lovely clean apartment with all the facilities will needed to look after themselves.
