Creston Villa Guest House

We had a lovely two night stay in this delightful B&B. Iain and Anna were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. It is clean, warm and homely with all of the extras and facilities you would expect from a hotel stay. I would recommend this place and would stay again!

Iain and Anna are a lovely couple who look after you brilliantly. They have lovingly built up their Victorian guest house over the last 19 years and operate it to the highest standards. By the end of the week I felt like a long lost family member!

Had a lovely one night stop in Lincoln for a black tie event. I chose Creston Villa as it was within walking distance to the event. The welcome from Iain was exceptional showing me the facilities available, then my room. The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water from the shower. Tea and coffee was available both in the room and kitchen/dining area. After a good night sleep breakfast was continental with an assortment of cheeses and meats along with fresh fruit and yoghurt. There were also homemade brownies and cookies.

Very friendly hosts Anna and Iain. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They very kindly made me a breakfast to go as I had to leave early. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. A nice place to stay!

Well what a lovely find this place was. We were looked after by the owners from start to finish, Iain was super friendly and extremely helpful checking us in, showing us around etc. Our room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. When we left we were given free home baked goods by Hannah which was a really nice touch. Was like staying back at home with our parents bless them both. Beautiful place and would highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts that could not do enough for you. Accommodation was great with cosy room and quality bedding. Complimentary cookies and cakes in the dining area. Definitely will stay again if I’m in Lincoln again

Very nice room decorated in traditional B&B style (kitsch but in a fun way) together with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Fabulous, from the moment we checked in Ian was a great host! A very relaxed atmosphere, with many added touches (home baking, sweetie bowl, cakes). A myriad of treasures, will certainly be back!

Amazing stay and the owners made us so welcome like family .Breakfast was lovely and very tasty kept you full till tea time.Room was so comfortable lovely place very quirky.

A fantastic gem of a guest house, ideal for visiting Lincoln. The Victorian decor & character is pleasant & homely. The hosts lain & Anna treated us & all guests during our stay like royalty. The pine room we stayed in was luxurious & cosy. The continental breakfast boasted great variety with hot beverages & toast served on request. Thoroughly reccomend & would stay again soon.

It is very clean and comfy and the owners are very helpful. Very good location.

Only stayed for a night but had such a lovely experience. The Victorian room is gorgeous, I loved all of the little trinkets and antiques, it's hard to feel bored as there's so much to look at! Iain and Anna make you feel so welcome and cared for like family without being intrusive at all. The homemade oat cookies are not to be missed! I will absolutely be recommending Creston Villa to any friends or family travelling to Lincoln :)

Homely, warm and cosy with lovely comfy beds and generous continental breakfast. Very hospitable.

Brilliant BnB, Friendly, welcoming old school bnb with an eclectic twist. Why stay in a bland identikit Hotel when you can support a fantastic independant

Iain and Anna will make you feel part of the family on arrival. You have access to the kitchen and dining area at all times meaning you don't have to stay in your room; although your room will also feel like home given all the special little touches and additions located within. My new go to location whenever close to Lincoln

Creston villa is a surprisingly pleasant little B & B, and well recommended if you are heading to Lincoln. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed treat, which does not sell itself in the manner it should. The owners Ian and Anna could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect, and I would not hesitate to say they are the friendliest owners I have come across. We were in the 'Victoiran room' at the front of the building, yet despite being on a major road there was no traffic noise at all. The bedroom was a delight, far removed from the usual bland interior you might expect for the price we paid. While there I sampled the home made marmalade which was delicious. I bought a jar of the thick cut with whisky. Also highly recommended. Cannot imagine there is a nicer alternative to Creston villa in the area. Well worth a visit, and it is a reasonable walk into the town centre. The breakfast was continental so no big fry up, but plentiful and more than enough to start your day.

A brilliant location and lovely property. Had a real home-from-home vibe. Lovely breakfast and clean and well-furnished rooms.
