Excellent stay and would 100% recommend. Couldn’t fault the hotel, breakfast, room or the service. Will be returning without a doubt.

Stay at this hotel regularly, it's very good. However this time some improvements could be made to make my stay better: The Christmas music in the lobby and bar was a notch too loud, which made concentrating on work e-mails tricky. Spotted the new self-checkout drinks/snack area by the entrance which looked great. Thought I'd get a small bottle of red wine and chocolate to take back up to the room. On self-checkout it asked me to get an authorisation from reception for the wine (over 18s), but there was only one staff on reception and a queue of 6 waiting to check in! I put the wine back and just got the chocolate. Great idea, but maybe not so great in practice. Shower wasn't hot in the morning (around 07:15), although was hot the evening before. A demand problem?

I will say it was just amazing like everything on point

Hotel was fine but started off badly as just felt ripped off with a £8 parking, £25 to checkin 2 hours early the £6.50 for a pint of beer. The room was good and a good location but unfortunately we could not control the heating and was unfortably hot. Unfortunately as well twice in the morning the cleaners knocked well before checkout disturbing our morning.

Amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel receptionist Bev was so friendly and welcoming and made the check in process very smooth. The room was excellent with all the facilities needed as well as being spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel overall. Spacious lobby, bar and dining areas, good food, and easy parking (although a bit cheeky charging £8/day for the privilege!). Gym was reasonable. I had one of the new ground floor rooms, but it had no desk (only a small round table which was no good for working on) and practically zero draw space. Also, housekeeping was poor (I came back to find my curtains still closed, lamp still on, wet towel still on vanity sink unit, and only one of the two mugs washed up, with the other still on the bedside table). Those minor (and fixable) details didn’t detract too much from what was otherwise a very pleasant stay. Recommended.

I can’t fault our stay. The welcome was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast had lots of choice. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Pool staff were very helpful. Nice pool and gym.

Clean, inexpensive

Hotel, service, food etc all excellent. The standard of the bathroom really let down our stay. We booked an accessible room due to my colleague having a disability. The bathroom was very dated, appeared dirty with staining on the tiles, and general deterioration. For the standard of the hotel and price per night I was expecting more than a clinical public toilet look!

Free upgrade to a new room. Spacious and clean. Comfy beds and nice toiletries. Only thing that was missing was slippers.
