Lovely 1 night stay at Greenbank - such gorgeous views from so many aspects. Dog friendly, but it is £20 a night for a dog to stay - bit steep, but probably for extra cleaning?? Fab breakfast - cooked to order - so no buffet. Made me more restrained and less greedy. Plenty of other restaurants with a 10 minute walk along the harbour. Thoroughly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Greenbank. Reception were so helpful to find a parking space (we have a camper van). From reception to the dining staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room was sooo clean with a beautiful view of the harbour and looked like the bathroom had been refurbed fairly recently. Reviews on the restaurant we read were mixed, which we couldn’t understand as the our experience was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at the Greenbank. We’ll be back !

It was very good except for us not sleeping well because of the people above us walking around most of the night and the floorboards creaking.

Great hotel in a quiet area but easy walking distance to the pubs and eateries. Pleasant staff and clean room. The dog was made very welcome and allowed into the bar area for breakfast. Good dog friendly hotel.

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year for 2 nights. Great position next to the water, we didn't have a river view but still got to enjoy this view over breakfast and in the bar area. Our 4 year old was very happy with the games room. The breakfast was really tasty and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

It was such a tonic staying at Greenbank Hotel. From the minute we pulled up in allocated parking and walked in to reception we felt welcome. All staff were friendly and attentive. Our evening restaurant dinner and breakfast was delicious.
When I discovered a small ceiling leak in my bedroom I was immediately moved to an upgraded room without any fuss. The receptionist phoned me to check if my new room was satisfactory.
Easy walking distance into the town centre. Would recommend Greenbank Hotel and definitely would return.

Booked this as a treat as it was my partners 60th birthday as well as NYE. Everything from start to finish was beyond our expectation. All staff were very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful hotel and location.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great choice of teas/coffee’s etc.
We chose a room with a view over the estuary and weren’t disappointed.
The staff we spoke to were all friendly, polite and professional, credit to the hotel.
There was a great choice of food in the restaurant and bar with views over the estuary.
We had a fabulous time and will definitely be going back.

This was my 4th stay here. I love this hotel, they get it just right for feeling you are staying somewhere special, great service, but relaxing & chilled. The food is great, range of cocktails & drinks in the bar is excellent. Service is fantastic, the staff are all so friendly & helpful. & the rooms are lovely with comfy beds and pillows

Stayed here with a group of friends and we’ve all said we’d like to return as couples! It was good to see receptionist to check us in. The room was stylish and super clean with lots of extra touches. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked. There were also plenty of friendly staff throughout the hotel
