Lovely staff

Had a lovely stay at Holiday Inn. Felt very welcomed and the staff are all very friendly. Good facilities, lovely seating area at reception and nice pool with sauna and jacuzzi. The rooms were clean, but need some renovation, especially the bathroom, which has seen better days. We didn’t like the bed, but that’s just a personal preference, as we like firm bed. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from.

Very nice big room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Dinner was great value with kids eating free. Breakfast was good qualify. All the staff seemed pleasant. Swimming pool, hot tub etc were great.

The location in conveinent. The staff are friendly and the room was clean and had a coffee machine, fridge and Bluetooth speaker (nice touch). I did staying in the premiium suite. Would recommend the burger in the restaurant, very nice The only down point in that the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable.

The manager of the Holiday Inn, Cambridge tried his best. We arrived at the Holiday Inn, Cambridge on a dark cold evening and attempted to check in with our paid, guaranteed reservation. We were told there had been a glitch with the booking software and there were no rooms available. As a service provider myself for many years, I have always held to the belief that a dissatisfied customer, properly treated, can become one of your greatest supporters. Sadly, even the best efforts of the manager couldn’t make this happen for us. To be fair, he was faultless in his courtesy and attention to our needs. However, sorry, the hotel was full. We would have to go somewhere else. We rejected his proposal to switch to the other Holiday Inn on the other side of the city but eventually he offered to upgrade us to a local Hilton. He agreed to pay all additional costs including the Hilton’s pricy underground carpark. All this took over an hour sitting and standing around in reception and then driving over to the other hotel. It was a bad start to a short holiday break (though the Hilton turned out to be amazing!). Despite the manager’s respectful attention I don’t think I’d book the Holiday Inn again.

I am very satisfied with the accommodation with 2 rooms and kitchen. Also it is very convenient to nearby town. Environment is so beautiful as it is opposite to Brushy Park and at the back of Hampton Court Palace.

The room was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries.

When the receptionist call you in your room, a few hours after arrival, asking if everything was ok with our room, you can’t complain about the service. Everything else was on the same level: bar, lounge and restaurant. Staff was very friendly and food was very good. The staff in this hotel knows what hospitality means!

When we arrived the pillows had black marks on them, one of the hand towels was dirty and there was a cobweb over the window. When mentioned to the front desk this was rectified same day. Our room was described as having a king sized bed but it appeared to be a double. When raised with front desk we were told that this was a "UK king sized". We were later moved to a superior king sized room which had a king size bed in it. Free upgrade.

Comfortable bed, nice shower, conveniently situated. Perfect for a one night stay.

Check in was great and very welcoming. The food we had was lovely we really enjoyed it. Service was also good.

Staff were very helpful. Loved being able to have a swim before a fantastic breakfast - particularly liked the pancake machine
