Friendly and functional accommodation. Staff happy to assit where needed and breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

Great hotel for a night before using Stansted Airport. Lovely welcome from the reception team. Very dog friendly. Good room, nice and spacious. Lots of hot water. The sofa bed was a little lumpy. Can't comment on breakfast as we departed before it opened. Would recommend for the price and would happily return.

A warm welcome on arrival by friendly staff. Easy check-in. Comfortable rooms. A nice range of hot and cold breakfast options including vegetarian options on request. Breakfast area was kept replenished and seating area kept clear and clean. Quick no hassel check out.

Loved our stay at holiday inn Express as always . Reasonable rates including a fantastic breakfast buffet . So friendly and clean and helpful. Toby carvery and garage next door . Brilliant

For the price it was ok. Room had everything needed like iron, hairdryer as didn’t expect it. But room was very cold was provided with electric heater but would not expect that in hotel. As on one night forgot to switch on and the room was so cold, so would have paid more and stayed in another hotel. Free breakfast was offered but was so bad quality food.

Good experience. Fast check in and good service. Would recommend and would stay again.

Loved it near to parkrun and outlet breakfast was good nothing to complain about. Excellent value for money.

Unfortunately the heating appeared not to be working and were provided with an electric heater which for one of us was hardly sufficient. Bed was hard, and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Shame really as a little more care and awareness and this hotel could be excellent.

Excellent service, room & staff

The hotel itself was very inviting & all the staff seemed very happy in their work. We received a friendly welcome on arrival. The room was large well decorated & very clean. We would normally have a kingsize bed, but a double was fine & it was quite comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, We arrived at 9am & no hash browns available and the bacon was so hard it was inedible also no mushrooms, I decided to have beans on toast...however we would probably stay again!

Staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean with everything needed for the stay.

First of all we got into a room with a bath, but being disabled. One can not get into a bath. But they did more us very quickly a few rooms down. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the room was very nice, what you could see. But as my husband works for the hospital, you really need to dust in the above places. The pull code in the bathroom was covered in dust and above the bed. It was close to all the shops
