Good value airport hotel for Luton. It does the job but with no frills, which for the price is entirely fair. Not the closest hotel to the airport, and despite stating it’s in walking distance you’ll need to drive or travel by taxi to/from the train station or use the (not so frequent) bus service that links Luton Parkway station and the Airport. Bus stop is outside the hotel grounds on a busy road (can pay contactless). We booked an upgraded family room, room only. What we got was a very small double bedroom with a couch made into a 2nd double. It was one of the smallest hotel double rooms I’ve ever been in. It was however warm, clean, quiet and safe. The tiny bathroom had what it needed. Can’t comment on the restaurant - had dinner before we arrived and, for an airport hotel, breakfast start times don’t start until relatively late. If you need a clean, safe, cheap option for a pre-flight stopover it’s fine. It has significantly better reviews than its sister hotel that’s supposedly a higher class.

The waiter serving us at dinner on 8th December was brilliant with our children, my ASD son adored him. The lady working on reception the evening of 8th December is lacking in hotel knowledge as she told us breakfast the following day would be served until 10.30am (we arrived at 10 to be told they were putting the breakfast foods away, but the lady there took pity on us and kept some food out). The ladt from the previous evening aslo told us we could check out at 2pm or pay £10 per hour to stay later. Thankfully after the breakfast debacle i checked this with someone else to be told if we stayed later than 2, we would have to pay for a whole extra night's stay!

We stayed in Room 001, it was on the ground floor. The room was very shabby and felt dirty. The bathroom door didnt close and was water damaged at the bottom so had an added panel causing the issue. The shower head would not stay raised, not great for someone 6ft plus! The toilet flush collapsed inside the wall on pushing to flush. The hairdryer was broken and filthy. The small double bed was like a camp bed and the final straw, the phones were not working so a note had been left asking all calls to be made via mobile to the front desk. I tried 8 times in the morning when all the issues had come to light. No answer so we gave up and checked out, telling the man on reception. He said sorry but didnt make a note of any of the issues so i pity the next person who stays in Room 001!

One night stay to catch an early flight. Very close to airport about a 10 minute walk in a well lit up area. Group of 3 in a double room with a pull out sofa bed. Very comfortable and enough space for 3 big bags as well when the sofa bed was pulled out. We had dinner as well in the restaurant and we all had a great meal. Would highly recommend. All the staff we encountered were very friendly as well.

After paying for our stay well in advance, we returned from Gran Canaria (midnight) to be told our room was not available and we could not be accommodated. There was no communication to let us know this was the case, eg email or telephone, so to arrive to this mess was shocking. Having travelled 8 hours from Scotland and returning the next day, we were absolutely furious and very upset and the situation we were left in. The night manager who we spoke to said he had "no idea" regarding our situation claiming there was no handover to inform him which whether true or untrue is completely unacceptable. This experience left a bitter end to our holiday to say the least and has ended any faith we had in using Holiday Inn hotels the future.

The carpet in your room and corridors didn’t seem very clean. My biggest issue- we were given an accessible room which we didn’t require but didn’t really mind. Part of the equipment included an assistance alert system which had a bright green light which lit up the room all night and stopped us getting any sleep at all. I did mention this to the person on the desk when we checked out and it was suggested we should have come to reception to inform them, this wasn’t an option as we didn’t fancy changing rooms at 11.30pm when we needed to be at the airport for 5am

All as expected from Holiday Inn. Fantastic breakfast - made fresh vegan sausages upon request. Airport noise as expected but silent overnight. Helpful staff.

Terrible , shower flooded, toilet filled with water and overflowed so we couldn’t shower and had to use the loo downstairs , bed was like a brick , evening meal was inedible overall the worse airport stay I have ever had.

The first room we were in was extremely hot and the AC was not working.We had to move into another room.The AC was working but not properly, there was a sign on it that needs service. The phones were not working so we had to go downstairs for everything we needed.

Had issues from games and misleading advertising on Google and the hotels website. 24hr room service with full English breakfast is not something that this hotel does. Hot breakfast is only available from 5:30am in the restaurant and on room service. I spoke with the shift manager and the general manager regarding the issues during both our stays. Issues from staff not available to open the main door to the phone system and Aircon units not working to errors with non delivery of ordered breakfast and errors with the breakfast items provided were discussed. The hotel agreed to refund the cost of the latest stay and will remove the website from Google which shows the wrong details which are false and misleading.

Everything was great - nice to have a restaurant on site and looks modern. The bathrooms though have poor ventilation and looks like pipes need clearing. People and service were nice!

We came in on a light evening flight (with my son) - check in was very simple - comfortable night - had breakfast (very nice) and checked out by 9 30pm before continuing our journey. Would definitely do again

It was just a quick overnight stay after a short but late flight. We had not booked a room suitable for a disabled person, but as soon as the check-in staff saw my sister with her rolator walking aid, he quickly sought out a ground-floor room with disabled person's shower. I was impressed,
