I feel the hotel no longer goes the extra mile for its customers, no bottled water or news papers, no drink vouchers, just the same type of hotel as a premier inn. And getting woken up by the cleaner both mornings is not good.

Receptionists are friendly and helpful.
When we checked in to the room we found out we can’t able to find the TV remote in the room so we made a call to reception.
The hotel staff came in and asked can she have a look first just in case the remote is hiding somewhere else. After few mins, she was able to bring us the TV remote.
Air conditioning in the room is adjustable and the next day early morning we got woken up by the garbage truck nearby and realised the window was opened.

Good location. We got to The Box and the Hoe easily. The room was large, shower was mostly good. We had a quiet night, even on New Years Eve. Good price also.

This was my 4th stay at the hotel, the staff are always polite and attentive. The breakfast is also well worth the money, my 6 year old loves the experience of going up and picking her own food!

I stay at this hotel whenever I go to Plymouth.
The main criticism I have with it is that the rooms are so hot, and the air-conditioning switches off during the night.
The beds are very small, and very uncomfortable, and the quilts are so heavy and thick, which coupled with the heat in the room makes for a very sleepless night.
I just got back today from a weekend today, and did not get one minute of sleep last night, as the heat in the room, the uncomfortable bed, and the heavy duvet or came into play.
Such a shame, because on the whole this is a really nice hotel. Great location, and great price.

I was awoken at 5am by the adjoining room, with disturbance for a further 2 hours including banging against the bed head by bodily impact from to the wall within the adjoining room. I reported this and was advised a welfare check of the adjoining room occupants would be completed by the hotel staff. Later in the day I was advised that vulnerable persons were accommodated at this hotel, which raises suspicions to whether those disturbances I’d experienced are regular occurrences. I will not be staying at a Leonardo Hotel again, and felt at risk of violence during my occupation of the room whilst the disturbance were taking place.
