Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and friendly staff

The room was small a very cold on arrival. The mattress was very old and uncomfortable, the bed linen not crisp mainly because poly cotton, towels not fresh smelling and shower not user friendly, took 5 mins to anything reassembling warm temperature and flow/temperature inconsistent. During the course of the night and early morning I was disturbed by staff occupying the accommodation above. All in all an experience I would not recommend. Very disappointed as their website gave a very different impression. I feel robbed!!!!!

Wi-Fi not available in my room to take work meetings during the day, so I had to sit in my car to take them. Not ideal.

An excellent place to stay with friendly and helpful service. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the region

Great communication,the room was lovely with nice touches. Good TV great hot tub and shower (could do with controls displayed how it works) lovely comfy bed and pillows .nicest place I have stayed in,in some time. Missed dinner cut off at 5 pm so can't comment on that and was unsure about the breakfast basket as got confused had email saying no breakfast then another saying book night before for breakfast. But all other Comms let me know exactly what I was doing. I recommend this hotel.

Lovely and comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Attractive outside space, beautiful furnishings inside. Delicious high quality food. Perfect.

Really enjoy our stay at Mallories! A few minutes walk to Mallory Park. Food was fantastic, top chef!

The shower was tepid and there were no hooks to put towels or clothing on in the bathroom

Lovely place in a very quiet village. Nice bar area and lovely room. My room had a toilet, but the shower was on a different floor, which was inconvenient, but not too much hassle.

Excellent small hotel, with personal service. Good tasting and reasonably priced food in the restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend.

The room was immaculate. The showers where hot. The parking for my car, safe and secure. The restaurant had high end great food. The staff where friendly and welcoming. I've stayed at hotels for work all over Europe and this was one of the nicest I've stayed in.

Room was fine, nicely sized and clean. No breakfast but had a good selecting of tea and coffee and everything else we could have needed. Parking on site was free the 1st night but we don't it full then next night due to inconsiderate parking taking up all the space so we had to park on the road outside.

Ideal position as we were working at Mallory park race track, shower in the room was a little strange, in the corner of the room but with a clear glass door, so you could watch your partner shower from the bed😂😂. Disappointed that bar and kitchen are shut on a Sunday evening as we didn’t get finished til 1730, went to Barwell for a takeaway, staff very helpful providing cutlery and plates for the room. Would definitely stay again if working in area again.

This is a bit of a gem: a beautiful converted farm house situated in a very quiet and beautiful part of Leicestershire, dedicated staff and a rather excellent restaurant in what was once a diary. The courtyard is pleasantly gardened and I found it just ideal for a get away.
