This was an amazing hotel to stay in London. It's a couple of minutes walk from Old Street station. Breakfast options with Pret-A-Manger, right around, along with Starbucks and McDonalds 24 hours. Breakfast option at the hotel was pretty good as well. The staff was super helpful and in our case, our younger son got locked out of the room, while with his elder brother sleeping in the room and the staff helped out with an extra key in the most timely manner and my son was very happy that they took care of him promptly.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Montcalm East for three nights, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel’s ambiance is stunning, and the attention to detail in every aspect of their service truly sets them apart.
What stood out the most was the incredible staff. They were not only attentive and supportive throughout my stay but also went above and beyond when I needed them the most. Unfortunately, I felt unwell on my last night, and the care and hospitality they provided were nothing short of amazing. They made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, ensuring my stay remained as pleasant as possible despite the circumstances.
This level of service has left a lasting impression on me, and I will definitely be looking forward to staying at Montcalm East again in the future. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines elegance, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests, I cannot recommend Montcalm East highly enough.

Subject: Wonderful Stay During My Girlfriend's Birthday Weekend
I wanted to share our fantastic experience during our recent stay for my girlfriend's birthday weekend. Before our arrival, I had arranged for some special birthday treats to be placed in the room, and everything turned out perfectly.
Although the room wasn’t ready when we arrived, the staff member who checked us in was incredibly apologetic and kindly offered us a complimentary drink while we waited. The delay was actually due to them wanting to ensure the room was set up beautifully, which it absolutely was. My girlfriend was thrilled when she saw the wine, cake, roses, and balloons.
The room itself was spacious and featured a large, comfortable bed. It had all the amenities we could possibly need, including some thoughtful extras like ear buds, which I’ve never seen in a hotel room before. They really thought of everything!
The pool and spa area were also wonderful, and it was a nice touch to have robes provided in the room, which we wore down to the pool.
The location is ideal, with easy access to Shoreditch and the city. If you're driving, be sure to check for free parking on the side roads near the hotel during the weekends.
Overall, it was an amazing experience with excellent service, and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our weekend so special.

Staff were welcoming and attentive. Hotel was well laid out with a decent sized pool. Pool was not heated. Sauna was not at all hot but steam room and jacuzzi were really good. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was average but costly - we chose from the a la carte menu rather than the buffet. Carpets need a wash but overall the room was clean. The dark themed room meant it was very dimly lit and the dust in the air was visible. Far too many light switches.
The location was really good for access to underground - Old Street being a 3 minute walk away. Plenty of amenities nearby.
Free on street parking over the weekend which worked well for us however the nearest NCP parking is a 12 minute walk away which is not ideal.
We were there for a wedding anniversary and the hotel staff left a hamper in our room as a gift which was nice.
Overall, a really good stay and we would visit again.

Came here for my daughters 16th birthday surprise. We had an amazing time. Staff where very friendly, and went above and beyond. Food was lovely. Only issue we had was when wanting to dry or style our hair there was no plug socket next to the large mirror. You either had to get on your hands and knees to remove the tv plug or the bedside lamps which was rather awkward. But apart from that we had a lovely stay and would definitely come again. Thankyoiu.

Great rooms and friendly staff, found a couple of small hairs in the shower which was not really worth complaining about just washed them down with the shower head, found a small tear in the duvet cover again by time we noticed it was too late in the day to complain as only there for 1 night, but definitely stay there again despite the couple of minor issues which hopefully a one off being as we been there couple of times before and things have been great.
