Thank you Natosha for spotless clineliness and Mark for booking us in and and answering all my questions! Breakfast service very attentive and helpful, food and choices good for the proposed standard. Only washington's receptionist let rhe standards of friendliness down but luckily we didnt have to have much interactions with the lady.

Just a old hotel. Serice is not good at all, took my card details for any damage in room, it never happened before, small box room with single bed and took £58 and that too is in bad condition. And the worse thing is said parking available when booking but when i arrived i have to park in the street. You have to book for the breakfast timing first. So bad experience, I wont recommend this to anyone

Yes it was a good stay the room next bed springs was a little on the nosiey side and the shower wasn't that hot but ok.

It was amazing,staff were friendly and professional.The room was clean ,bed comfortable and breakfast excellent.I enjoyed my stay and i would recommend to friends and family.

It is very close to the University, very handy when I need a place to stay to attend events.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, but the room was not vacuumed and the smell of mould was really strong. The great breakfast saved it all because of the friendly staff, the presentation of the breakfast food and the overall quality.

I have stayed here several times. Normally very good, and I shall still use in the future. This time, however, was a little disappointing. I rang through to reception at 5:30 PM, as I was cold in my room, as the weather is now clearly into the cold winter mode. I explained I was going out at 7 anyway, but was not sure as to why the radiator was not working. I was informed it operated on a timer, and would come on at 8, but only for 2 hours. I feel the heating, at this time of year, should not be restricted to a mere 2 hours. I was informed I had a heater fan in the closet, but there was none provided for my room 45. I let that that drop at the time, as I was going out shortly, but I did draw the absence of the fan heater to the attention of the reception as I departed for a few hours. Upon return, no fan heater had been supplied, so I used the extra covers that were supplied within the upper closet. No big deal, but 2 hours at this time of year for automatic heating is insufficent, in my opinion. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The lovely breakfast is always a nice start to the day, and I really love the place and the staff. Price wise, my rate was very competitive, indeed, substantially less than Hotels literally just up the road. I shall be back, for sure, but the oversight of the fan heater, and the general heating policy in general, took the shine off this particular visit.

Nice room, excellent value for money, clean, modern, good size, tea/coffee/biscuits/fruit in room. Was a little cold that day and raidiator in room wasnt working but wasn't too cold to necessitate me asking reception. Breakfast was amazing. Generally a very good stay.

I always like staying here. The room prices are good, the area is quiet and the staff are friendly. However, the hotel is falling apart in places with maintenance badly needed in the rooms.

Clean . Tidy. Staff friendly. Done what it said on the tin . Couldnt ask for more. Good value and good location

Staff were lovely and welcoming, however... * TV Remote was missing and the TV barely worked due to cable damage which was there when we arrived. * Big scratch on the TV screen also which was there before we first entered the room. * Puddle of damp water (we think and hope) just outside of the bathroom door which we were unsuccessful in mopping up or drying for the duration of our stay. * Breakfast was quite poorly organised, seemed to be a lot of chaos and confusion as people turned up before their slots and the food overall was average and served lukewarm. * Door lock was confusing and stiff - had to really give it force to both lock and unlock upon entry and exit to the room. * Bathroom door didn't shut properly, again, very stiff and wouldn't lock effectively.

The breakfast girls Izzy & Darmian was very kind , considerate & professional Rest for consecutive 02 nights, my room heating was not working properly , regardless of multiple requests on the main reservation counter, nobody turned up to correct it It was quite chilly to sleep for 02 nights If the heating was out of order, room should not be allocated and a better replacement was expected which was not there at all in first place

Loved our stay at the Washington. Very convenient location. The staff and service every morning at breakfast was amazing.

It is a lovely area but a very run-down hotel which for the price was disappointing. Terrible shower, damp issues across the walls, bad breakfast. I would not return.

This was a good find. Quiet non-smoking room overlooking trees. Parking, excellent location. Staff extremely nice. Generous breakfast. Very good value for money. Hot powerful shower. Only problem that there is no room for plugs to fit in the three plug sockets above the dressing table. So I had to boil the kettle on the bedside table.
