Overall a pleasant stay. Room (suite with tub) was spacious and comfortable, and had most utilities you need for a short stay. Could’ve used blinds behind the curtains, as room was facing a road/parking lot (we had our curtains closed all the time, which made the room very dark). Food from the restaurant/roomservice was pretty overpriced. But would overall recommend.

Love The Wildes, lovely staff who are always helpful. Nice gym that's convenient to use. Wonderful restaurant. We stay at this property often. My only request is that they'd provide liquid handsoap in the rooms. Rather, they provide a little bar of soap with no where to put it. So it makes a mess on the counter, that takes up needed counter space. It's the smallest little thing that drives me crazy every time I stay there. Now I just go buy a little bottle every time for my room. Seems wasteful but it makes my stay nicer.

Drain was partially blocked in shower. Clearly an ongoing issue as there was pre existing water damage to floor and skirting. £10 for a limited gym is very excessive, there is a hotel chain that offers masses top range equipment with pool/sauna facilities at £5. WiFi login a little laborious. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food was nice and restaurant decor/set up is fantastic. Staff was exceptional, impeccably well presented, refreshing to see people taking such pride and professionalism in their work

We stayed in the modern refurbished rooms which were of a high standard. Good breakfast in well presented breakfast room

Great staff. Big well equipped room. The hotels was very clean but could have done with the shower area having abit more time spent on it although it wasn't bad

The staff were attentive, helpful & very friendly. The building is beautiful. My only recommendations would be that there needs to be a shelf or tray of some kind in the shower to put toiletries on, and the stool at the dressing table is too low for me to be able to see the mirror otherwise very clean & beautiful room.

Very enjoyable stay. Gala dinner excellent and staff very friendly. Disco music was a bit loud as couldn’t converse with the table but places to go to.

Nice place but let down by poor attention to detail. Arrived early evening after a long journey to check in for our two night stay and was greeted on arrival by a pleasant chap called Liam. He informed us that they had closed its restaurant for dinner sittings after a "maintenance issue" for the past few days. As it goes we had plans locally elsewhere but if we hadn't, we would have neen very upset that they hadn't told us about this issue prior to arrival. We had booked a suite for 4 of us and Liam gave us our keys and off we went to freshen up and relax. Upon entering the room though it was clear the room had been set up for 3 not 4. There were 3 towels, 3 biscuits, and a tiny bottle of shower gel which wouldn't have been enough for 2 never mind 4! I tried calling reception and housekeeping but got no answer from either. I therefore went downstairs to find out if we could get another towel and inform them of their mistake. Liam admitted it was their mistake and promised he would deliver us some more supplies. He brought a towel , shower gel and some tea, coffee sachets and bottle of water within an hour. We were then out all day the following day arriving back at about 11.30pm. upon entering the room again Housekeeping had apparently set our room up for 3 and not 4 so again we were missing towels, water, biscuits and the shower gel had not been left at all for our second night! A complaint to the night porter was made and again he apologised but poor attn to detail.

Hotel is of a high standard from the minute you walk into reception, friendly staff at check in. Rooms are excellent. Restaurant good. Breakfast is buffet style, hot and cold choices. We were there for a Xmas dinner and dance, food excellent, but bar very pricey, a pint is £7.50, bottle of wine circa £30+

Nice room , comfy bed. Ended up with a disabled bathroom no bath but couldn’t be bothered to be changed . Quiet room no noise.2nd time we have stayed here .

Wanted a evening meal but the restaurant was closed.Had to travel to the next town

One night stay but excellent

I liked the underfloor heating, nice carpets, Christmas decorations and robot breakfast assistant. I didn't like the single glazing in the old part of the hotel and noisy roads. Or the dirty mattress protector and cracked sink.

Good evening, soup cold, disco excellent, needed more staff, really good atmosphere.

Attended a works Christmas party!..stay in hotel over night. Room was fabulous and the party went well Food was of a really good quality, over all experience was enjoyable one, only negative was the bar was on the expensive side!….need to review your drinks prices

From start to finish our recent trip to Wildes Inns was fantastic, the room we stayed in was superb and met all of our needs, add to that the amazing looking hotel, fantastic menu and quality of food to match! Finally we topped off our stay with a highly recommended massage at the spa which finished off the trip perfectly

most everything about the stay was very good. but focusing on the bathroom (room 105). there ware absolutely nowhere to put your toiletries when taking a shower! there was no shelf, no mesh rack to put shower gel or shampoo on. I had to put them on the base of the shower near the shower entrance. Whilst I fully accept this is very much a first world problem, it stood out as a problem when everything else about the room and hotel was so good. there was room enough to put a small shelf - Hope this is useful
