Location

The hotel is very easy to access via the tram direct from the airport, alighting at Jean Medecin it is only a 5 minute walk away. Being central it is very well situated to walk to all areas of the city and neighbouring towns such as Villa Franche. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the interior of the hotel is modern and welcoming. Unfortunately the weather was not kind during our stay, raining much of the time; we were therefore unable to use the loungers on our balcony, in the garden or by the pool, however there were plenty for sunnier visits! The bedrooms are spacious, bedding comfortable and with black out shutters for a good night's sleep. One minus point is due to the energy saving lighting they are quite dimly lit, and surprisingly no light at all in the area where the kettle is, which we felt quite hazardous. Also milk is not provided, you would have to go to the bar to fetch if you need it with the tea and coffee supplied - there is a mini fridge so it seems strange that at least some form isn't in the room - you don't really want to leave your room first thing in the morning in your nightwear to go in search of some! The floor area outside leading to the pool looked quite shabby and requiring tlc. Otherwise the decor throughout appeared in good condition and clean, the lounge area near reception is pleasant. Breakfast was excellent-a really good choice and the fresh baguettes were sublime! Would stay again -issues were minor and the positives outweigh

Very conveniently situated hotel close to Train links, in the heart of Nice Centre. Easy flat walking to all shops, seafront etc.

Poor check in, 1st Room smelled of cigarettes, 2nd Room already occupied, 3rd time lucky.

If you did not get to breakfast early, many items were gone and replenishment was haphazard and slow.

The location was brilliant, just off the busy main street however our room was very quiet. The breakfast was okay good enough choice for us although some might prefer more cooked options, we were more than happy. Transport was walkable and very reasonable in price which allowed us to explore. Easy walk to the old town which was beautiful and had a great choice of restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall would definitely go back to Nice and happily stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was quiet, clean and in a convenient location. The fruit selection at breakfast could have been better and it's a pity more use wasn't made of the very pleasant garden by having a bar there.

Excellent location of the hotel. On the shopping street and easily walkable to all. Major attractions. Easy journey to/from the airport on the trams Staff friendly on arrival. Hotel just needs some attention giving to it. Definitely not a 4 star. Toilet roll holder falling off the wall and rooms dated. Breakfast selection very limited and food average.

We would stay here again. If you have a car you get a preferred rate at the car park next door (it doesn't connect to the hotel, you must walk outside and go up steps so load and unload prior to parking). Very pet friendly we had our 3 kg dog who was welcomed nicely and the staff knew his name. You must bring your own dog bed and pet bowl. There is a lovely courtyard with pretty gardens for guests which provides a quiet oasis in the middle of the city. The bathrooms are dated but clean.

Great location plenary to do and see

The position of the hotel was excellent, close to transport and attractions We booked a suite which had a balcony with outdoor seating and a couple of lounge chairs. The bathroom was very spacious and had a seperate toilet. Only only problem that really needs addressing is the beds, they were NOT COMFORTABLE, in fact they were so hard I had to sleep on pillows to try and get some sort of softness. Also they do not know what a blanket is.

The staff here are amazing! I lost my phone whilst up at the pool and the staff did everything possible to help me find it. The manager is the bar upstairs even took me to a local mobile store to translate for me. All the staff were amazing! The phone turned up 2 hours later, I’d jumped in the pool with it and it was at the bottom! The manger kept it for me and dried it. It worked fine afterwards as waterproof. What a great hotel, and amazingly helpful staff. Situated in a great location centrally and with plenty to do both inside the hotel and in the surrounding area. 10 out of 10 Mecure Notre Damn!!!

Fridge & safe inside the room, secure, clean, areas available (rooftop bar & pool, main floor lobby, garden, lounge area), eco-friendly water fountains on every floor to refill your own bottles. They provide different towels to use by poolside. Housekeeping was great. Beds are standard to what we have experienced in Italy. The Air-conditioning needs adjusting it for it to be effective when it's hot during the day if you are in the room & you open the curtains. Would love if the windows could open to allow fresh air in the rooms. Its probably designed this way for safety. Would also love if lighter blankets or just flat sheets were used for blankets (we didnt think to ask). Our trip was in August & the standard blankets, though very comfortable, didn't need to be heavy. Location is very good. Easy to walk to many places. Loved seeing the Notre Dame every day. Staff at hotel lovely, helpful. Location great. Room was ok, but beds not the comfiest and air con wasn’t good.

The location of the property is so convenient. The roof top bar and pool made the stay so amazing. The staff were congenial and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel is in a great location and close to everything. However upon arrival it seemed that my fiancé and i were placed what seemed to be in the back hotel and instructed to use the elevator that did not require card access. We get to our room which was out dated and the toilet was running nonstop. The hotel was responsive and fixed the toilet. Minutes later when attempting to shower, there was water all over the floor due to a leak in the shower door. After informing the front desk and requesting a room change, we were moved to the front of the hotel which was updated and much nicer. I am unsure as to why we were placed in the oldest part of the hotel when rooms were available ( same reservation type). I am unsure if this was treatment because we were an interracial couple or american. Whatever the reason, it was unfortunate and would not recommend for those traveling from the US.
