The room was a bit noisy because it was on the ground floor on the street side. The room seemed a bit old, especially the bathroom that was not so clean... However, everybody was nice and helpful.

Staff was very friendly. Good Covid19 prevention measures put in place. Limited choice of food in the restaurant but adequate. Walking distance from the city centre I would come back

Super friendly and helpful staff. They were fully decorated for the Women’s World Cup - it is great to see that level of effort. Walking distance to the stadium and convenient to the Tram. I wish they had other nights available during the tournament- I would stay again.

Nice hotel - clean and very pleasant staff. Breakfasts are good value for money BUT beware that smokers gather at exit doors and wall or building. Smell of smoke infiltrates into rooms and smokers loud and laughter until 1 in the morning when we eventually had to telephone reception to ask them to consider other guests and keep the noise down.This has been our third yearly visit as it is nice a convenient for us visiting a War Grave - not any more I am afraid.

Staff were friendly and helpful, secure gated car park (5€ charge). Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and airy. Large opening window with quiet and pleasant outlook. Sunday stop, so kitchen not open, but excellent breakfast on next morning.

This hotel is very worth for money, the staff is very helpful, breakfast is good and what most important it has a free parking lot. Superb!

Stay here for a week every 3-4 months. This trip, I decided to bring my daughter along. Don’t usually have any problems with the stay and have based my rating on that, general review of the hotel at the end. This time, there seems to have been some confusion over my booking, I called to add an additional night over the phone. This resulted in not getting a twin room as requested although the night staff gave us an additional bed and blanket/duvet to put in the room, but no sheet. The room staff did make the bed properly the next day. The next night, someone was assigned our room whilst we were in it. Again, it was eventually rectified after some time when the reception staff spoke with the manager over the phone. Not sure of the exact reason for the problem, may have been a clerical error or glitch on the computer. This is the first time I have had an experience like this at this hotel. I will still be coming back next month. It is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre and about 20-25 from the train station. The rooms are clean and fresh. Good sized room and bathroom. I’ve never eaten in, so can’t comment on dinner. The breakfast has the usual continental items. It can be a struggle to get a table during peak times. They have onsite parking, at a fee, but there is free roadside parking at the front of the hotel if you are lucky enough to get a space. The roadside parking at the side of the hotel looks like it will now be chargeable.

This was an excellent base from which to explore many of the local bird-watching places and to drive through picturesque villages. The hotel was a nice, comfortable, friendly base to return to at the end of each day. Breakfast well and truly set us up for the day. Thanks.

The hotel is in the downtown a bit off the motorway. The room was fine except the climate controls weren't working at all and it was somewhat hot. Seems like they were just disconnected. Not too much around the hotel to we ate at the property and there only about 25% of the menu available. Furthermore the bartender/waiter was having a bad night.

A bit tricky to find the hotel. Helpful staff and the room was clean and comfortable. Only there for one night and away early so not much to say about the local area but it seemed safe and friendly.

Noise from towel men at 5am was probably the only real downer I could put on this stay. Value for money and comfy bed.

A group of us got together for a motorcycling weekend around Valenciennes and the Ibis was chosen for its location and price. It was a good choice, comfortable rooms, good breakfasts and best of all secure underground parking for the motorbikes.

Hotel OK, as expected. 10 minutes from motorway. Typical Ibis hotel with acceptable breakfast. Not many options for evening eating locally.

The stay was great, but I only used the hotel as a base whilst attending ANZAC day memorial services at nearby Le Quesnoy. As myself and members of the New Zealand Military had to be up at 0430 to be at Le Quesnoy for the dawn service I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel had laid out breakfast, some two hours early as many guests were attending the service.
