We had a car. Not sure how convenient would be if only public transport to get into Nantes which is 9.2 k away.
Lovely conference hotel.
Staff fab and room lovely.
Only niggle would be only access room from 4.00 pm but you can use the pool so only little niggle.
Breakfast would be nice if set up rather than large round table where you have to get your own cutlery and food on a tray but again just a small niggle

This hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The location is such that a car is a necessity.

Check in experience was terrible as the reception staff made us feel unwelcome, as per policy they have to take deposit but online it does NOT mention credit card! We have a normal bank card, But staff assumed that we don’t want to pay the deposit and in front other guest they asked us to leave the hotel. It is very embarrassing. Finally they accepted our bank card but the receptionist was so confused who check-in us in and told us the card is not working, he didn’t even inserted the card in the correct machine! I am a hotel reception manager I understand the hotel policy but here at Westotel Staff need some serious customer service training.
Over all the hotel is great, room was newly refurbished, free car park. Restaurant & Bar super expensive!

Stayed here while travelling from the south of france to the ferry port in cherbourg. After 500miles/8 hours on travelling, this hotel was perfect to regenerate. Clean, spacious, comfort.

Wonderful reception staff and a great garden suite ! Good facilities and the food in the restaurant was extremely good and staff well trained and friendly I was impressed 😊 but returning to the same restaurant for my breakfast I was only offered a tiny side plate for my cooked breakfast ! This is absolutely useless for the job I requested a dinner plate that I had the night before but was refused and told to use 2or 3 side plates ! I said this was unacceptable as would be duck on 1 plate and orange sauce on another! I was told that larger plates where not available for breakfast so I left without eating ! I would not return for this reason and that the bar was extraordinarily expensive €21.00 for a double Jack Daniels & Coke 😡

Very affordable stay at a quality hotel. Stopped over on our drive to Portugal. Lots of parking and a nice lounge. Very comfortable bar area and a restaurant. We chose not to eat at the restaurant due to a limited menu and steep price.

Accueil impersonnel, un système électronique ferait tout aussi bien l’affaIre. Le petit-déjeuner se termine à 9 h 30, ce qui est tôt pour un hôtel dédié à la relaxation. Assignement d’une chambre pour handicapés alors que l’on n’a rien demandé, cela peut être vexant. Le menu du restaurant laisse présager beaucoup plus que ce qui est donné à goûter ; au mieux la cuisine est insipide. La literie n’est pas de première qualité, surtout les draps. Il est certain que je n’aurai aucun désir de retourner dans cet établissement si je dois repasser par Nantes.
