Very picturesque settings surround. Rural location but nearby black forest magic. This location is rural and no extra frills. The restaurant wasn’t in service during my visit but the owner went out of his way to bring us fresh coffee in the morning delivered by his wonderful son. They have a little farm and garden area with charming goats, chicken, and geese. There is an adorable church next-door. The room is comfy and clean. Everything you need at a fair price. I slept very well. I would stay here again. I wish I had more time to spend exploring the town on bike. We arrived at 7pm without a reservation and the owner welcomed us and made us feel at home.

Great cheap little hotel for overnight stay. It is a little dated but is very comfortable. It cost us 30€ per person directly for a single room and a double room which was very cheap for the area. I forgot to take photos of bathroom (shared) was large and had a good shower pressure and heat with 3 jet options.. Rain, normal, and jet below head..

Beautiful place, complete peace, only the sounds of nature. Fantastic staff, clean rooms, free WiFi, beautiful surroundings, too bad I only stayed one night. A large perfectly equipped kitchen is available.

We spent a night here for work and we really enjoyed it. The price-performance ratio is good, the rooms and the bathroom are well-kept and clean. The operators are very friendly and helpful.

I don't understand the good reviews. Didn't receive the service I paid for. Firstly, the hotel was locked when I arrived. It gave the impression of being abandoned. I then had to call the phone number on the mailbox to get it unlocked. The room was cold when the outside temperature was 0 degrees. The heating had probably not been running for a long time. The man who opened the door said he would turn on the central heating now. It took three quarters of an hour until I had warm water and the heating was at operating temperature. There was no Wifi password anywhere, as there was no reception and no note, that was it. I didn't want to call again. The promised kettle was also missing and I couldn't find any German-language channels on the TV. The latter wouldn't have been so wild. But the next day I woke up in the cold, the heating wasn't running again and the water and room were icy cold. There was no showering, it wasn't enough to wash my hair the day before... I don't think I need to say anything more about it...
