The owner and the staff were wonderful.
They were so helpful in every way. The room was very clean,neat and comfortable. The breakfast was very satisfying. The location was ideal to just walk out the door to tour the old city. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Traben-Trarbach to visit the Bernkastel Weinfest, to which we travelled on the regular passenger ferry along the delightful Moselle river. The Golden Traube was only a short walk from the ferry stop, and was close to numerous restaurants and cafes in Trarbach. It was an excellent base to explore the area and the towns.

Wij waren 2 nachten daar, een prachtige accommodatie, de kamer was zeer mooi, bed top. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Zeker een bezoek waard, maar dan wel wat later in het seizoen dan er misschien wat meer activiteiten die open zijn.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht zum Besuch des Traben-Trarbacher Weihnachtsmarkt. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen, es war einfach hervorragend und sehr sehr schön. Jederzeit wieder.
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Alles was man braucht. Selten so ein schönes Hotel gesehen. Wenn es mehr Sterne hätte würde ich mehr geben. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit.

Die Stadt hat wenig zu bieten , die Restaurants haben um 21 Uhr geschlossen .
Also eher etwas für Menschen die um 18 Uhr essen gehen und um 21 Uhr im Bett liegen .
Aber… jeder wie er mag . Traben- Trabach war nicht unser .

Het hotel heeft last van een sick building syndroom, hoewel het 's nachts buiten in het geheel niet warm was, denk 13 graden, was het in de slaapkamer zonder airco minstens 25 graden, niet fijn om te slapen met het raam op kiepstand.

The real BONUS with this place is the roof terrace with stunning views overlooking the roof tops of surrounding buildings in the village.
