Perfect location for a one night stay whilst transiting Germany by train, under five minutes from hautbahnhof. Room was clean, bed very comfy and an excellent shower...perfect!

We have stayed in this hotel at least 4 times (most recently Nov/Dec 23) and it is in an excellent location and area near the Hauptbahnhof and the main shopping area. It is in very easy walking distance to all the Weihnachtsmarkt locations when there pre-Christmas. The rooms are so clean and have excellent facilities including a reasonable fridge, 43" flat screen tv, safe and now a kettle and mugs etc. for tea & coffee. The large King size double is extremely comfortable.The breakfast is excellent (17 euros) with both hot and cold, albeit we mainly have breakfast from the fridge in the room courtesy of close by Lidl or Rewe supermarkets................
We only have 2 negative comments as follows; (1) occasionally not enough staff on the reception desk to deal with new arrivals or answer queries from existing clients quickly enough and (2) On all our visits (in winter) particularly when very cold, there has been quite a draft of cold air from windows, however this intermittent issue does not outweigh the advantages of staying at this hotel. Hotel didn’t inform us that they had wifi issues for three days before we arrived. Yet, receptionist told us he didn’t know when they would get it back, when I asked him that why they didn’t inform us so we could cancel our reservation he simply told us to call Expedia maybe we could get discount.
Hotel location was close to train station, shopping and restaurants. But all the entry doors were locked and ring bell wasn’t working, we had to knock windows to able to get in. There was only one receptionist at the time so it wasn’t easy to find them when needed.
Room and bathroom were small but well furnished, unfortunately dusty wall to wall carpet and window drapes kicked our allergies terribly. Wind and outdoor noise was getting in easily.

Overall a very comfortable stay.
2 Things I mark,
1) shower faucet was very hard to use, with hands of shower gel not even a chance to reopen Wasser . Was mentioned at reception. So a good chance that it will be fixed.
2) prices at the bar, wow !
Feels that some entertainment will follow ( incl. in the pricing) , but didn’t.
€8 for a half liter beer, without band in the background, absolutely to expensive
Also a Wine for €9
I would choose the hotel again, but if pricing at the bar doesn’t change, I definitely prefer bar near the hotel

Convenient location close to main station and shopping precincts. An empty bottle and a biscuit wrapper had been left in the room by a previous guest and probably missed in oversight by the cleaner. Bedding, towels & everything else spotless as expected. Due to the high temperature for the time of year I left the window open, to be woken sporadically by screeching tyres from the adjacent carpark. For 1 night if was fine, would stay again if passing through.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Mitten in der Innenstadt, 2 Min zu Fuss vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Um die Ecke ist ein Parkhaus, das aktuell (06/2024) 19,00 Euro pro Nacht kostet.
Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner, aber noch gepflegt. Sie kommen aber langsam vom Design her in die Jahre. Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas zu klein für eine Vollauslastung des Hotels, es kann also zu Wartezeiten kommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist aber sehr vielfältig und gut.

Die Lage des Hotels in der Nähe des Bahnhofs ist perfekt, alles andere kann ich nicht unbedingt empfehlen fuer den Preis: Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, unser Fernseher war nicht funktionsfähig (ein Problem mit der Antenne(. Als es regnete waren keine Regenschirme fuer die Hotelgäste verfügbar. Die Badezimmertuer in unserem Zimmer schloss nicht richtig. Als ich Aends um eine neue Packung Kleenex an der Rezeption bat (in unserem Bad waren keine mehr da und wurden nicht aufgefüllt), sagte man mir man würde sie gleich bringen. Nichts geschehen, erst am anderen Tag mit der Zimmerreinigung.

Excellent hotel. Nice city for stopover from Frankfurt to Hamburg. Big smile and warm welcome by hotel staff.

역에서 가까워 이동하기 편리했어요. 인터시티 호텔이 철로 건너편에도 있어 다시 역으로 들어가서 찾아갔네요. 3박을 하는 동안 2일동안 1층 바를 열지 않아 불편했던 것 빼고는 다 좋았어요.

In general it is a great hotel and the location is perfect. Only the staff at the front desk need to be trained better. They didn’t know how to adjust the air condition for example.
All in all a hotel I would recommend.
