An excellent Hotel offering comfortable accommodation with minimal fuss. Clean, efficient and very helpful staff and a good breakfast choice. Great value too. The location is superb with the tram nearby and an Italian Bistro next door. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very accommodating staff!!! We have been coming to this hotel for more than a year and always have only good impressions. Own parking, and although the hotel is small, the breakfasts are good. A little far from the center, but the price is optimal for Freiburg. Near the tram stop, after three stops and you are in the center. There is a highlight in the location of the hotel, it is a large park with a lake, where in warm weather, you can enjoy nature. My wife and I come to this city twice a year (our friend lives here) and we always strive to book a room in this hotel and do not regret it!

A clean room with relatively modest bathroom. The staff is very polite and speaks great English. Great place to stay if you're on business trip around Freiburg.
Located next to Penny (a supermarket) and has several restaurants nearby.
Easily accessible by train from city center, which also reachable by 30 minutes walk.

Prepare for the host asking you straight about your marital status before telling the local story that you will marry a Freiburg citizen if you accidently step into one of the cities gutter channels. Otherwise nice hotel, but need to take the tram to the city center. Mind this hotel is in an "Umweltzone" for which you need a car sticker.

Stayed for 3 nights in September 2015. Fairly basic but clean and contemporary. Good free parking for the motorcycle in the underground car park. Beds are very low and mattresses a bit on the soft side. Within easy reach of the centre of Freiburg by the tram which stops very close by. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
