Nice quiet location, but a bit of a walk into the centre of Kos town and also the beach, especially in the heat of the day. Otherwise, a nice clean property with lovely staff & would stay there again.

Location was far and in deserted area. No shampoo, no conditioner. Rooms are too old and basic.

I found the staff very friendly and accomodating. Strongly reccomend

Convenient for the price and location. Rooms are clean and mostly comfortable. The only discomfort was that the room was next to the reception which made it noisy and felt intrusive. Book your transfers in advance as prices might double.

Leonidas is a quiet setting just out of Kos near Lambi. A bit of a walk to town, but they rent bicycles and then its about 5 minutes. Simple, clean, quiet and a nice place to say. No frills. There is local restaurants to eat at within walking distance. The hotel has everything needed with a bit of a nostalgia of times past. The grounds are well maintained and it looks like they upgrade as much as they can. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

Everything was perfect. The staff was so so kind and helpful with everything, and was always ready to make sure, that your stay would be comfortable. Family run small hotel with lovely clean pool. Our room was spacius , comfortable & very clean. Great quiet location close to good restaurants & super market. Kos town & beach 10-15 minutes walk. Great holiday.

Más o menos no más. Llegué muy temprano al hotel y nadie me avisó que mi pieza no estaría limpia, por lo que tuve que esperar a que la limpiaran, habiendo podido llegar a dormir después del largo viaje que tuve. Además queda bastante lejos de lo "entretenido" por lo que si uno es joven y quiere ir de fiesta y pasarlo muy bien, es mejor irse más al centro de Kos. Por otro lado, para los que quieren tranquilidad, el hotel es bueno dado que está en una zona semirural. Además las piezas bien limpias y el hotel ordenado y tranquilo. Habían más familias y no tanta gente joven.

We arrived before checking time but everything was ready so we were checked in and shown the room. This is a basic hotel room, the beds were comfortable sheets and towels changed every 2 days. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, we didn't see any other staff. The TV and fridge were not working when we arrived but this was rectified while we were out the next day. If you are on a tight budget stay here and eat out.

It is a nice hotel with all amenities one needs for a short vacation stay . Nothing to brag about but nothing to complain either.

This is a budget hotel so do not expect four star facilities. We had a first floor room over reception which looked out over the mothballed hotel next door but gave a good view over to the mountains. The large balcony faced due west so got the afternoon sun full on it. The room was of a decent size with rather old and basic furniture and a fridge, which we used, and 2 cooking rings which we didn't. The room was very clean but a little dated. The bed was rather hard and we had a pillow each which wasn't enough for me but I was readily given another one on requesting it. The bathroom had a basin (with no plug) a toilet and a shower. The shower was a tray with plastic curtain and a hand held shower head. It was nigh on impossible to prevent the floor getting soaked. The water was hot. The air conditioning was included in the price and worked well. The reception area was comfortable and there is a small bar but no restaurant. Breakfast was a cold buffet. We found it fine but there were a couple of people who thought it inadequate. If you want more plenty of the bars do full english breakfasts. The swimming pool was very good and clean but there is no pool bar.

Excellent value hotel, just short stroll (15mins) from centre of Kos Town, but lots of interesting shops & restaurants on the way in. We were in room 115, just past reception, so great WiFi reception, which was free. Friendly family run hotel with lovely pool & no shortage of sunbeds & parasols. We had a self catering room with small basic kitchen area, inc a decent sizes fridge. Minimum equipment, just 2 plates, k, f & spoons, no kettle,just big saucepan & small frying pan. Sadly the only let down was that the room was tired & very basic, although clean. But we had all we needed, no charge for the air conditioning, a balcony with table & chairs, comfortable clean beds and adequate en suite. But we had all we needed for a great relaxing holiday & the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Kos Town was wonderful, great restaurant, the Sunset, 5 mins from hotel, with best local supermarket opposite, trip to Turkey for just 8Euro plus statutory 5Euro tax, fantastic all day boat trip on the Katarina, inc v good lunch for 25euros, a morning spent wandering round the amazing ruined castle overlooking the port. Great shopping, people watching, everyone so friendly - generally the Brits are loved by the Greeks. Altogether a wonderful holiday. I'd definitely return to the Leonidas!

To be sure, this hotel is not luxurious, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. I was surprised to have a very good mattress and the aircondition worked perfectly (not noisy). Only small complaint would be the cleanliness of the pool, but with the Med just 5 minutes away by foot that was no big iissue.

Nice hotel - bit far from the beach if you walk everywhere but quiet neighbourhood and fine as a base to explore. The hotel staff are very helpful fot taxis, bikes or vehicles if you need. Friendly staff, cheap price, clean hotel room (though the beds were a little soft). Wifi working throughout - would go back but there are better islands to explore than kos :)

Really nice breakfast buffet (5 Euro extra). Reception staff friendly, very helpful, intelligent and knowledgeable. Nice room. Aircon included !!! Top value for money.

Booked a room for my sons at the very last minute. Staff were very welcoming.This hotel really is excellent value for money.

Hotel just outside town centre (15 min walk) so handy but quiet.. Some supermarkets, bars Restaurants at end of road so need to go all the way into town if you don't want to. Beds very comfy and basic cooking facilities to do our own breakfasts.

A good budget option if you are staying in Kos Town. Quality and cleanliness is at least equal to or even exceeds budget hotels in major european cities such as Paris or Rome. The hotel is a short walk from the main road as some reviews have noted, but this is more than compensated for by the pool and relaxed nature of the hotel. Location is in fact better than many hotels on Lambi beach north of Kos Town. Definitely recommended.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is quiet at nights, and the breakfast was really good.

AIr condition was not working properly, needed adjacements daily. Promised to be a 3 bed room, actually it was a 2-bed room with an extra uncomfortable mobile bed. The rooms kept clean though. Pool was not working all days. Temperature of water in the bath was hard to adjust (it was coming too hot or too cold).
