Pomegranate Wellness Spa Hotel

This is a fantastic resort which I would rate among the top 5 in Greece - the gardens are piece of art and the location is great 40 min drive from Thessaloniki. The staff is very well skilled and very polite while the food is also first class.

The property is excellent. Everything is done by high standards.We spent great time there. Beach is great and pools especially infinity is gorgeous. The area of the hotel is quite big and nice. Very clean, beautiful and green. The staff working in the hotel were really nice and polite. Wonderful experience here at Pomegranate Wellness Spa hotel. Such a kind and welcoming staff. Peaceful atmosphere and crystal clear sea. Amazing entertainment team . I recommend it to whoever wants to have a nice holiday in Halkidiki and I will definitely be back again at this hotel .

We spent 3 days at the hotel (got an amazing deal w Expedia) and cannot fault the hotel at any level. The staff were incredibly attentive, respectful and friendly, the facilities were great. We Spent a lot of time at the beach where you can get food and drinks served to your lounger overlooking the sea ( what else do you need?!). We also used the beautiful spa and in in the evenings when out for dinner in the nearby villages (it is not very near, car would’ve been helpful but there are plenty of taxis). Breakfast was included and delicious. I Definitely Recommend this hotel.

THE STAFF AND THE SPA ARE THE BEST FEATURES OF THIS HOTEL The rooms are too dark- The children's pool was too small, it should be called a baby pool. I was traveling with a 6,9 and 13 yrs children. I am British and this hotel caters for the Russian market. No English children channels. Good job I brought my computer and the children's iPads. The food was good. - excellent starters and wonderful deserts, disappointing children's menu. chips, spaghetti ,mince and sauce every day but pizza three times in the 16 days... pretty poor really. The hotel was expensive for extras but its Halkidiki........ The beach area is this hotels down fall... it falls into a 3 star resort. overall it is a nice hotel - some parts of it is 5 star the rest between a 3-4 star... I loved the friendly staff but the regular clientele made it an unattractive stay. Recommend - stay at SANI BEACH if you have a family, plenty of direct size pools, a mixture of cultures, although majority of English but of a higher calibre. but book early , like a year in advance if you want a place. Its a little more expensive than here but worth it....

We had a wonderful time there. Will definitely go back again. Great place for families with children. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the room was beautiful.

Staff were incredible! Very polite! Made our stay so relaxing and comfortable! We had cleaners every day in our room which was great! Pool side meals are reasonably priced and there is a great choice! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! It was our honeymoon and they helped make it very special. The spa is outstanding and very handy that we could access it every day whenever we wanted. This helped a lot when it rained the couple of days it did!

We loved this hotel. The service was excellent and staff are very friendly. The food is pretty good too. The spa is superb and high quality staff. The suggestions for improvement would be more evening entertainment, and improve the beach condition - it is near impossible and quite dangerous getting in and out of the water with the very large and very slippery rocks that are impossible to avoid. I saw several people fall. Most guests are Georgian/Russian. Not friendly but polite at least.

Pros- Most amazing spa I've ever seen Very clean 35 mins from airport Incredible fountain show every night On beach So much space within hotel Cons- Caught a tummy bug in the hotel whilst there so could barely do anything, we were forced to eat in the hotel and sometimes the food was so bad I couldn't even eat it. Hotel isn't near anything, town is a taxi drive away- which we didn't do as was so unwell!

It was a really nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms that all had nice views of beach. Staff was super friendly and professional. The half board was much better than expected with lots of choices for everyone. I will definitely return to this hotel and btw it's very kid friendly as well.

Hotel is very nice. It's located at Casandra. Close to Thesaaloniki airport. Territory is very big but not so green. Excellent spa!

Truly an outstanding experience! as five star as it gets! aside from there being no water available for free at dinner time to drink, everything else was exceptional.

Excellent experience, if only the beach was slightly better

Our room was not cleaned and we had to call when we needed it cleaned. Tons of moskitos which ate us alive in a the hotel and around it. Management needs to act on this. The food was avderage, not gourmset. The beach steep down from hotel, but within a minute walk. Still a nice place. Tons of Russian tourist and staff almost naturally speaks Russian to everyone. The staff are the best a set to the hotel and also it's lobby.

The hotel is beautiful and as it's quite new so it looks very clean. The staff are polite and helpful. However the hotel mainly caters for Russians , as I guess they can afford to pay the high prices charged at this hotel. The prices of soft and alcoholic drinks is very expensive.. 12euro for a Mojito which wasn't even great! The Spa is great and we received a 1 day pass to use the spa but the price of treatments is even more expensive than London!

This was a last minute booking . I have eaten at the hotel Posiedin restaurant before and always been impressed by the hotel , it's gardens , public areas, and the sea views of course. So having already been there a few times before we were really impressed by the experience of staying as a guest. Each day we were treated to a few little extras that made our stay even better . Fresh fruit delivered to the room, champagne on Arrival at breakfast on Sunday , aperitifs before the evening meal . The quality and variety of food was beyond our expectations. We have eaten and stayed at many 5 star hotels in Greece before . By far this was the best .

We chose this hotel for a 5 night break to just chill and relax. We had a standard room on the ground floor,it was serviced twice a day,the bed was very comfortable and bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, good quality toiletries. Our room had patio doors opening into the gardens which were beautifully kept, the walls of flowers were lovely. The spa is the best we've experienced and the gym had really good quality machines and a number of free weights. We opted for half board, really good choice of breakfast, the evening meal was a buffet style with a really good and varied choice over the five nights. If you eat in the two other a la carte restaurants you get 30% discount. All of the staff were very friendly, the cleaners and gardeners would all say hello, we found that all the staff spoke english and very attentive. The beach although narrow was cleaned every day with a large number of beds all with shade. The hotel has a fountain display every evening, a different theme each night, this was followed by live entertainment every evening by the pool bar. The night club is located under the pool area and has been fitted out to a very high standard, on leaving the club we couldn't hear any music at all. During our stay it was my wife's birthday, the hotel delivered a bowl of fruit and a really lovely chocolate cake. The hotel is a very easy 40 min drive from the airport. Would we stay again, that's a definite yes.

excellent hotel, great staff and marvellous facilities. in more detail: the rooms were new and very clean and large enough with a nice modern bathroom, the pool water was crystal clear and large enough to swim, sun beds and beach bar were excellent, design very good, all in all one of the best if not the best hotel in Halkidiki
