Great place to crash near airport, service made up for anything else it lacked

There was a hiccup with the shuttle due to delayed flight. Not sure what I was looking out for but after a call (on a borrowed phone) and a 40 minute wait the car arrived. The airport seems to virtually close down from 9pm. Apart from that everything was good.

Negative Star Review: Stay Away! I had a truly disappointing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming—no greeting, no smile, just an overall unpleasant attitude. Walking to our room was just as bad. We had to navigate through a dim, unlit corridor that felt unsafe and neglected. It set a terrible tone for our stay. But the worst part? The hotel advertises a shuttle service, but when we asked for a ride, they outright denied us! No explanation, just a flat “no.” To make matters worse, we saw the same receptionist give another guest a ride to the airport! The favoritism and lack of professionalism were shocking. Our very bad experience was recorded on video, and we plan to share it to warn others. This place is a nightmare. Don’t waste your time or money. There are far better options out there. Avoid at all costs!

Great option for a last minute stay. Grabbed this room because I could add breakfast and they had a shuttle. It's just one guy driving the shuttle, so give yourself a solid 30-40min wiggle room on your transport.

No amenities—no bathmat, no soap for body wash, no glassware, floor felt dirty.

A lot of stairs for a heavy suitcase. Spacious, clean room. Overall a nice hotel.

Lovely view from the room. Breakfast was simple - glad it was included because not worth the price they wanted. Beware travellers, taxis in the area are hard to get on a timely basis and are costly. The shuttle ran about the same cost at 20-25 Euros. Since we had little luggage on a connecting flight, we opted to walk to the airport. It took less than an hour and had a very nice paved path all the way.

Room was clean. I was told there was shuttle to the airport. Scheduled a time I wanted to leave for the airport and when that time came there was no ride. The front desk man ended up taking us to the airport. We left for the airport about 15 minutes of waiting for a ride.

Price was good

Always an easy place to use coming from or going to the airport. Clean and comfortable, but pretty bare bones and the breakfast is not really worth it. Not meant for staying any longer than one night, because you’re going to want to get either home, or on your way on your trip in Iceland. This is just a convenient stopover.

When we first got to the property it looked promising. We called ahead and were picked up from the airport by the shuttle (TBD on if it was free) but we did wait about 30 minutes for it which to us was ok. The room was big enough for one night and the beds were comfortable even though it was two singles pushed together. The bathroom had a musty fart smell and no toiletries. The view from our window was stunning which was nice. There is NO ELEVATOR so be prepared to carry your bags and if you have trouble with stairs please avoid this one. The breakfast was laughable, toast with cheese and a broken coffee machine. We ended up walking 20 minutes up the street to a delicious bakery instead. Now the checkout process can make someone crazy. The check out time is 11am not 12 like Expedia states. There was no one at the front desk. There was 12-15 people in the lobby waiting to check out and no one was there. We waited for 20 minutes before someone asked the housekeeping and they said to just leave your keys on the desk and walk to a near by hotel for a shuttle (which was supposed to be offered at this hotel fyi). All of us walked over to the nearby hotel which informed us that the shuttle is in fact not free unless we were their guests. We tried to call the hotel and the neighbouring hotel did as well and no one was able to get through. This was an awful experience. Not worth the $300 we paid for the stay.

Hotel very remote, in deserted street, far ftom airport

The was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. No airport shuttle as advertised. No 24 hour room services. When trying to check and find a taxi no one to be found to help in the lobby. Luckily found a cab out front dropping another person off.

They advertise transportation to and from the airport and it is a lie. They do not have an elevator, torn sheets.

I would not recommend this hotel! The Refrigerator in room not work, toilet seat not attached very good. NO ELEVATOR !!!!! Breakfast was toast and cold cuts. They claim airport pickup but when tried to call fo pickup no one answered, had to take a cab. I would not recommend this hotel! The only good was they did shuttle me back to airport.
