This is a beautiful property situated across the bay from Grundarfjordur and the stunning Kirkjufell mountain. The bedroom was very spacious, as was the bathroom. The kitchen is perfect for multiple travelers to utilize at once and had plenty of basic spices, cooking and dining ware.
I would happily stay here again! This was one of my favorite places I stayed in Iceland.

Very clean, safe and large apartment.
Interacted with one lady staff in the morning and she was so courteous. I had forgotten my wallet and passport in the apartment during check out but she came running to my car in the parking lot before i drove off. Thanks to her and thanks to the property who have honest prople working there. The property location is excellent, Kirkjufell mountain is visible from the room window and is literally 2 minutes drive, it has excellent views too. It had full kitchen, utensils and small dinning table for four. In short would love to stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights on our road trip around the ring road. The location was fantastic and in a beautiful setting. We had an apartment with a kitchen and were able to cook our meals. It was quiet and a great spot to see the northern lights, which we saw briefly as the clouds parted. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

10 min from town and the Kirkjufell. Would advise to have a car of course. We liked our room as it was very spacious and had a private kitchen/dining area including stove, oven, microwave and tea/coffee. Check in was simple and information is provided prior to arrival. It was a clean space with comfortable twin beds.

We checked in late and I was expecting to enjoy the view of the mountain in the morning. But when we arrived, we were informed that the pavers are coming in the morning so it’s either we leave early or leave late. I wish there’s a way to post pictures because it was right outside my door. Big truck and smelly asphalt. I wished I was informed ahead of time. The staff was either unfriendly or just overworked. I don’t want to judge people I don’t know, but it would be nice to have a warm welcoming voice. Lastly, they need a new dryer. It took me two hours to dry our clothes.
