My stay at ibis Balikpapan from March 29 to April 3, 2025 was truly memorable. I stayed in a Standard room with 1 Double Bed and was satisfied with the facilities offered. One of the things I admire the most is the location of this hotel. Strategically located with a close distance to the city center, making it easy for me to access various interesting places and needs while in Balikpapan. In addition, the environment around the hotel also feels comfortable and conducive. Access to and from the hotel is also very good, making my trip smoother. In terms of service and facilities, ibis Balikpapan also did not disappoint. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere during my stay. This hotel is also very family-friendly, making it suitable for those of you who are traveling with family members. The availability of good Wifi is also very helpful in staying connected. In addition, the choice of activities around the hotel adds value to my stay experience. The check-in and check-out processes also run quickly and efficiently, respecting the guests' time. Overall, I highly recommend ibis Balikpapan for anyone looking for a comfortable, strategic, and well-serviced accommodation in Balikpapan. My stay here really left a positive impression.

stayed here when with family, the room was clean, but unfortunately the swimming pool is far away, you have to go to Novotel, the food is delicious, there are lots of choices, when ordering, double check how many people it is for, because if there is only 1 person, you will only get 1 person for breakfast, adding 84,600/pax

The hot water is not warm, during my 2 nights stay, but the atmosphere with the family is quite pleasant. The waiter is quick to respond.

- Booked a room for 2 adults + breakfast, but it only applies to 1 person. So you have to add more costs. - Some room facilities are broken. The bathroom handle is broken, the entrance/exit door cannot be closed properly, it must be pushed or closed tightly manually. - The bed sheets have red spots that are already blackish brown.

The policy about breakfast is strange, we usually stay breakfast for 2 people per room but here only 1 person first, and it is said to be a hotel policy. So it is not interesting to stay here again

the room is nice, clean..it's just a shame that now we can't get mineral water in the hotel hallway, we can get it at the dispenser provided..in my opinion it's not very practical..and there's no mini fridge. for cleanliness, the room is nice and comfortable.

As a smoker, I feel annoyed because it turns out that this hotel does not have a smoking room. There should be information provided on all platforms, so that guests who smoke can choose a hotel according to their needs.

Hoping to be able to swim and have children's games, but instead there was maintenance. Disappointed when booking the room there was no notification that the swimming pool was still under repair and was at the hotel next door.
