This hotel is good for its location, close to piazza Navona, Spanish steps, fountain the Trevi! It has a specific smell though, that’s why just have to take a shower and go to bed. Stuff is very welcoming and friendly, eager to help out with any questions!

We decided to stay in the place for just one night last minute. After seeing the reviews we considered the risk and decided a “pleasant” stay at as worth it. However upon our arrival we experienced a broken shower head, a broken ac and short circuiting lights. This kept us up until 1:30 am when we decided to seek help from the front desk. They came to our room and were extremely unhelpful, they unsuccessfully pressed a few buttons on the ac and called it a night. When we were upset and requested another room as the lights keep switching on and off until 1:30am the front desk man on duty simply walked away from us and told us to take it up with the people in the morning. We discussed it with them the following morning and they told us they would not refund us and that we had to take it up with Expedia. Upon requesting the refund through Expedia we have been met with equal difficulty. The Expedia team has called the location multiple times only to say the hotel said we “agreed upon” not paying the city tax and was on our way. Not only was this not communicated to us but it was also said that we must handle our refund though Expedia not the hotel. Only to find that once we’ve checked out the money goes to the hotel and they decide to refund us or not. It’s been a god awful back and forth and we are unlikely to see our money back. This establishment is dirty doesn’t work and has live wires coming from the wall not to mention the abysmal service they have to offer their clients.

Very good location and close to many good restaurants. Walkable to most tourist sites.

Pretty bad experience. No blankets on the bed, we slept cold all night under a single thin sheet. Bathroom and shower are very small.

Great location but the air conditioning was making terrible noises every 5 minutes during our entire stay. We told the staff about it and they said they would try to fix it but nothing happened. Definitely not worth it if you value your sleep

Air-conditioning was not working, and the window could not be left open because of spare balcony with other room. Bath was not clean and there were left hair from previous visitors.

I loved staying here..whilst the building and facilities were a little run down, it still had so much atmosphere…the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the area was amazing. We booked for the end of our time in Italy, and was one of our favourite part of our trip!

Water for shower was either scolding hot or freezing

The photos are a lie! This place has mold, it’s broken and old and dirty! I got a terrible room in the basement not what I had signed up for on Expedia when I confronted the staff they said they just use these photos as an example but don’t guarantee a room like this! Stay away unless you want bed bugs or some kind of infection

The unit had issues with AC and ants all over. Staff attempted but failed to fix most issues.

Nice hotel, kinda tight

Getting in and out of the from was not safe. It has two very steep steps at the door frame. The walls are covered with cloth that is dirty and moldy. There was a piece of gum stuck to the wall. The showerhead came off as soon as I turned on the water and it did not drain properly. It was not fixed until the following day. If mold is what you are looking for this is the place for you. Nothing like the photos at all. The location is great. Not health safe because of the mold in the walls. The bed does not have a cover, only sheets.

The room we had was in the "basement" and needed many upgrades. Some of the light fixtures were not working, the bathroom stunk, the toilet was so close to the sink that we had to sit sideways to avoid hitting our knees, the shower was old and had some rust, the mirror in the bathroom was rusty all around, the bed had only sheets and no comforter. Granted is was hot, but in the room with AC at night, it was chilly. A blanket or comforter would have been nice.

Best value for money and location was perfect. Dont expect a fancy hotel that you want to spend the night in.
