Great experience we had during our stay at Capo Comino Alto appartments! Beautiful view from both sides of appartment, clean and spacious rooms, the most comfortable bed I ever slept in...But, our hosts Gianpiero and Domenica were the best hosts ever! Always in disposal, willing to help, to give us their umbrellas, to give us reccomendations for the beaches arround and places to visit. Overall, an exquisite place that we will visit soon again! We are on the ferry to Livorno, after spending a wonderful week at the Comino Alto farmhouse. My husband and I chose to stay in the ground floor apartment which opens directly onto the splendid garden full of flowers, succulents, bougainvillea, with a sitting area on the grass in front where we had our aperitifs while looking at the sea. Even from the table where we ate you have the extraordinary view of the beaches of Capo Comino, a real postcard!! The apartment is very cool and, unlike the guests on the upper floor, we never turned on the air conditioning. What to say about the owners Domenica and Giampiero? Two extraordinary young people who take care of the farm even down to the smallest details. They made us feel like family, they pampered us with their myrtle, with the liqueur and pompia jam that Domenica prepares with her skilled hands. The location is magnificent, just silence, the chirping of the cicadas, the singing of the birds. It is located high up on a hill overlooking the entire Gulf of Capo Comino, and can be easily reached via a 400 m dirt road that is very well maintained, so much so that Giampiero levels the surface every day with a steamroller. For animal lovers there are some cute red kittens and an affectionate dog Ugo, very intelligent, non-invasive, who approaches and is cuddled only by those who want him, otherwise he keeps to himself. The location is strategic for reaching all the most beautiful beaches in the area. We particularly loved the Moletto one with its dunes and turquoise waters. We stayed as a couple for 12 days in this beautiful property, which boasts a strategic position to easily reach many of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia in just a few minutes by car. Comfortable apartments equipped with everything you need (even a hairdryer). Car parked conveniently on the property. Stunning view from 2 large and habitable terraces. Owners Gianpiero and Domenica were friendly, kind and very helpful in recommending beaches to visit and restaurants to try. Important feature: you are often welcomed and greeted warmly by the two big dogs Clifford and Ugo. We will try to return….
